That's another route to a one off character that not really going to have a major effect on the game, with a limited amount of sex scenes.

Ryn having two possible sexes puts her possible variations at 4, means you have to go back and change all her past sex scenes, future sex scenes, reference to her sex in any past and future dialogue, account for two different kinds of pregnancies if they go that route (hers and PCs), changes any story beats where her sex comes up in the future (and considering its actually a big part of her story, probably comes up quite a bit)...

Adding a extra set of possibilities to a story important companion is really different than adding an extra route to a fairly minor side character.

It's quite literally the same thing. Wsan could have either chosen to tweak old Brienne content to be more balanced between sexes, or to make it so going forward. Still requires hard work, but easier and more doable than the alternative you illustrated.

Plus, no one pretends dickless Ryn should come out looking like regular self, with 50 or so repeatable scenes at the inn. 4 or 5 would be enough, or maybe even more than enough considering if she were to grow a pussy she'd only do so at the end of her quest (if not at the end of the game).

And if taking into account her personality shift is too much work even then (just a couple lines here and there in her scenes, as opposed to sub/dom Arona who's got radically different content), then make it so she can only lose her dick if she's high affection, or whatever it is. Problem selved.

I never did the Gweyr stuff in any of my playthroughs. The appeal of playing another character and getting very little benefit for it, just turned me off. Now this update is pretty much all to do with the aftermath of that quest.

Add to it that Liaden has only eyes for Azzy (except for one threesome scene if female, I think), this update ain't for me.

Though I suppose I could try the Gweyr quest and see if it is as bad as I think it probably is. Sigh.

I find it pretty difficult to give a shit about a Tobs quest, especially if Azzy or her GF are involved.

None of Tobs's quests are fun. Or engaging. Or "hot". There is no need for mini novellas in a porn game.

Yeah. I wouldn't be opposed to some proto-Bioware stuff where you get to do cool shit with *insert here new character* before sexing them up, kind of like Alypia's recent mini-quest with the teacher but longer and more interactive.

Hell, i'd honestly be stoked if each companion (read, Brienne and Arona) got some personal quests that involved less sex stuff and more bonding and actual adventuring.

But if it's just some 34985904385439583 essay for the writer to pat themselves on the back over how deep and smart they are, and that literal diarrhea leads nowhere to boot, well fuck that all day.

It’s still a game. If the text is boring, having more of it isn’t interesting or fun to read. It’s like having an extra long episode of a show but it’s just the characters standing around doing nothing but talking. Having more isn’t necessarily better.

There is Text and then there is the Shit they that call text that has been put into the game. If there was a Skip Button for Dialogue, It would be like Most AAA games when you interact with an NPC, YOU SKIP and go straight to accept, and Turn In Quest... "Welcome, Advent.." (SKIP) (STORE) ... LOL....... I pretty much do that on 90% of Trials now, when seeing if they actually did anything worth Real Work for a change after a couple of months. Nope. I mean yeah I think that's kind of a given at this point, so much of the garbage AO3 tier writing is baked into huge chunks of the game the only way they'd be able to fix it is by effectively revamping the whole release, which is just not gonna happen. It's just a classic nerd hobby to whine about stuff that doesn't really matter, and that neither party will likely really remember 20m after the posts.

Also always a chance a post either directly or indirectly tilts bubs to the point they fuck off, which is probably the biggest improvement we're likely to get, outside savin occasionally telling tobs to stop forcing his pet project everywhere.

There are still writers who do fine stuff though to be fair, so worth voicing opinions and takes just in case one of those come across it.

At least on this part it makes sense actually: Patreon cracks down on incest between generations like Parent/Children Aunt/Nephew but not in stuff like Brother/Sister or Cousins

I get immersed in games fine, but self-insertion is something that always seemed kinda odd to me. It's weird when anime tries to do it, weird when games try to do it, and especially when porn tries to do it.

From my standpoint, I just want to see porn on screen. I don't give a crap if the PC is involved in the porn or not the PC involved, as long as porn is happening. I'm not personally involved either way so not much of a difference. Heck, I don't even play my own gender in these games, because why add more dudes?

And, tbh, there's no NTR in this game like...at all. Someone who was actually looking for NTR wouldnt even give this game a second look. NTR involves stealing, and noone in this game ever gets stolen, its just happy open sex all around that everyone is cool with.

I dunno if people are forgetting the original game, but there were actually plenty of scenes of your companions banging each other without your input. Heck, one of your companions would bang minos until you stopped her and also alluded several times to other flings she had on the side.

Yeah, what this game has is not NTR. No need to get angry about the fact that the game is about a lewd world where the characters are lewd. I'm even pretty sure that with the characters that you actually can get in relationships with, you can keep them from lewding other characters.

I pretty much agree with your Tobs & Wsan conclusions here.
I enjoyed most of Tobs' stuff early on (the Kiyoko astral plane stuff - oh and his 'Lore' stuff - especially the interesting stuff you find out by talking to the Goddess of Knowledge(?) (snake-goddess) was really interesting - gods actually being wraith that had evolved).
And yes, the inablility to handle criticism & actively aggravating critics, not through replies/posts, but through your actual writing - is just stupid
(the whole Kinu debacle - was badly handled. It was well written to start with, like you said. Watching her grow up & your interactions with her & Kiyoko were wholesome & quite enjoyable. To Skandranon no worries never feel the need to justify your kinks/fetishes we are all degenerates here and if character immersion isn't your thing that is fair enough but a lot of people do like it. I am more into RP myself rather than self inserts because I don't go walking around as a hung futa in real life.
NTR comment was me being kind of hyperbolic for comedic effect really. It is mostly just losing/game over scenes that are NTR. However if you aren't in a committed relationship it doesn't count I guess?? So only Kiyoko rape scenes once we are married would count. I don't think there are any rape scenes for the horse waifu or centaur waifu once they are married or am I wrong?

To Hellover I was mostly being hyperbolic but language around terms does evolve over time. However both you and Skandranon do make a point after browsing on these forums a lot I think everyone would agree on avoiding a flame posting regarding NTR people do need to chill out more on kinks they don't like I won't argue with that.

I get what you mean and I think more people would admit I have a point on this if Tobs wasn't such an asshole about it. This is the internet nobody will ever agreee with anyone 100% on everything and some 'criticism' is just bile and hatred which is nothing but negativity. Tobs should just take a time out from the net and write in private. Cut out the massive lore dumps the petty vendetta and stick to some good smut. In terms of recent scenes I actually liked the dream sequences of fem Keros being pregnant. Making all the diety figures of CoC 2 submit to my MC and Kassarya's world of smut sounds like a solid plan and a great way of ending the conflict.

might be my pet peeve but I feel that most of the writers refusal to notice or write about pc's race, especially when the characters are talking about certain races that the PC belongs to. Is somewhat more than just annoying.
