While I do think that the insult was unnecessarily personal and most likely untrue, I don't think most incest enjoyers here would actually want to have sex with their family members. Isn't sister/mom like one of the most searched terms when it comes to porn? "Outlier" may not be accurate here.

Pornography can and will mess up with your brain. I doubt most kids and young adolescents first interest in it has any relation to incest, unless they live a very strict life and some day the dam just collapses.
When it comes to giving personality to the MC, it all depends on what choices they take with the character. If you present to the player that the character is looking for more than meaningless sex, then it's fair to write the MC as a bit more caring and open-hearted since asshole MCs wouldn't bother with all that lovey-dovey shit. We can't really get into super emotional territory in terms of the MC, so if you want something like that then the character you're writing is going to have to carry that aspect pretty heavily. However the more depth you give their relationship, the more believable it is for the MC to get more emotional.

I'd gladly remove over half of the current content if it meant having more moments like those in the remaining storylines. Yet the devs believe the things they should be focusing on are Bubble OCs, convoluted lore no one cares about and reworking the combat gameplay. I'd also add that illusion of choice when used wisely between major decisions can be a good thing. Having 3 dialogue choices that lead to roughly the same scene with enough variations within it would be much better than being forced into different default personalities that vary depending on who wrote the scene.

Rape is baked into the game and is something the vast majority of writers has to and have written, gleefully. To say that incest being vile is justification to not write it is to say that rape is not. Tobs has done it himself, even to another writer’s character, much to his consternation. Don’t blame me for your own words.
Considering the shit the staff in general has said about people who disagree with them and written about in their projects, I wouldn’t put it past them.
