I forgot who owns Cait + Temple, but if it is Tobs, and you guys wanted to get back at him bad enough. I am more than sure if enough reports to patreon about child grooming etc, and other Fancy Worded Terminology was used. His entire crap would be put on hold until removed. -_- no more income, and boom, I betcha he would show up here wanting to know why.

Especially since he is going to mess over Brienne + Family.....

Do the world a favor and do it.

The only reason why he has gotten all that in the game so far, is cause it isn't just out there. It is mostly his fans and etc, but once people notice. That shit is gone. :/ And I am 90% sure he would come here and start crap, or pay the modders for VENGEANCE !

Then it's up to us to give him a proper welcome~~~
And speak like civilized folk instead of listening to one-sided cock riders all day praising his work.

Eh, I think this is up to personal taste.
But I will say that in this particular game, pretty much all the relationships are open and polyamorous, because your character is canonically polyamorous.
I think worldbuilding is used as an excuse to justify putting in polyamorous, open, voyeur, and cucking content because Savin likes it. I dislike voyeur and cucking, and am neutral on polyamorous. I would prefer monogamous, but I don't mind an interesting 3 character relationship if its done right.
I get what you're saying here. I think it all comes down to a push-and-pull between the porn and the plot. I think such options hurt the plot (at least for me), but I can see as to where they'd improve the experience of the porn part. The call would come down to where you want your game to focus on; there are plenty of games on this site where the porn is subservient to the plot, and vice versa.
The vast majority of people prefer monogamy, and they are willing to deal with a harem even if they never would want one in real life. I'm not sure how a PC being in charge of a harem would be detrimental to the plot? Other people can have sexual relationships in the background without it needing to be brought up. I think you can write a good story without needing to have the other character having sex with each other, even if it is a porn game.
Yeah, lack of buildup is an issue that I've seen come up a decent amount between this and TiTs.
An example of this specific thing for me is Brienne. After you transform her, if you sleep with her, it pretty much immediately goes full steam into your characters acting very much in love. A bunch of her scenes fire automatically, too, upon stepping into the Wayfort; she'll basically tackle you and get you to knock her up as soon as she's done with her previous litter. My characters had to start taking blank powder to get out of the cycle. She doesn't really have any buildup at all.

Of course, most people do really really like her, largely because Wsan is a goddamn wizard at pretty much anything he does, so its not really a problem that comes up much, but for me personally, it was bit offputting. Evelyn, another Wsan character, also has the issue of a lack of buildup I think, but for a different reason.
I'm not sure it's necessarily Wsan magic, but I do enjoy her scenes. I suspect the more likely reason she's so popular is because she is monogamous, and that's rarer in this game. She's probably overall mediocre in development. I'd prefer if there was a slower burn romance up to where her content is. I am interested to see if Drifa could potentially become more popular than Kiyoko/Brienne.
Funnily enough, the context was something to do with a Kinu Quest. I don't know what specifically it was, because, again, I've done basically no kitsune content still (lack of interest in Kiyoko, mostly) but it was just something I noted people had opinions about. Sounds like a recurring Tobs problem.
Yeah, I avoid anything that will trigger Kinu content. I went from caring to preferring not to care.
My personal issue with Gweyr was being misled. After she first gives you her story, you basically get to make a judgment call on how she behaved in her tale. You can say what she did was necessary, or you van say she's a monster, as well as a more neutral option.

The issue is that after that, no matter what you pick, as you continue down her questline your character comes down on the side of basically being 100% on her side and convincing her she deserves to go home.

I don't like choices that don't do anything.
Yeah, Tobs doing that originates from Fall of Eden.

Eh. You run into a matter of practicality there: Brienne (or any other character} doesn't have enough content to hold up a game by herself. She wasn't designed that way, no character was. I wouldn't devote the time to run through the entire game just for Brienne scenes.

And then, as another consideration, she just doesn't hit any of my buttons. I don't like lactation or pregnancy, and I prefer my PC to play the sub if someone has to.
How about this then. Assuming Brienne did push your buttons (whatever they are), but your player character was able to devote the time to each character in their harem due to some sort of power?
Sure, but that just makes you a decent person. There's a difference between a character being particularly brave and a character being The Chosen One. Heck, to bring back my earlier One Piece example that's a huge argument going on in One Piece about Luffy right now; that's he now way too special and it damages the story, despite the fact that he was already pretty damn special.

I don't personally like most stories that cross a certain line in putting the MC on a pedestal, no matter the medium.
To be fair, it depends on how you consider fate in a fantasy setting. The PC could be the chosen one simply by being the only decent person. I'm also not sure the whole being super good at learning has anything to do with the portal. That's only the soul.

Tangent:
Which mechanically, you level the same speed as your companions, but you can change your entire fighting style within basically two in game days. Not sure if that implies experience is separate from the "learning" idea and something else, like you absorbing people's essence when you defeat them and improving the power of your soul. Which, getting smarter shouldn't improve the power of your soul, so it probably is some sort of power absorption.

I don't think it has anything to do with Savin, it was the same way in CoC1 and TiTs. It has to do with simply being the easiest way to handle a bunch of relationships in a game where content is being written by dozens of different people: everyone is pretty much okay with everything. No conflict, no need to account for a bunch of different relationship states between different people.

The vast majority of people prefer monogamy in real life. I don't think that necessarily reflects their desires in porn games. Though any speculation on my part is pure guess work, because porn game preferences are a little hard to nail down, as scattered as the industry is.

The PC being in charge of a harem hurts a plot in my eyes (speaking generally, not for any specific game) because harems are wildly illogical. It would take a very particular kind of personality to agree to a blatantly non-equal relationship like that, or a social structure extremely different from ours. Most games that I've played that have actual harems tend to be games that either don't really take themselves seriously or are very badly written.

For another popular example, I'd point at Summertime Saga, which has had a somewhat similar issue for a long time and has been an ongoing point of contention between the fanbase and the dev.

I'll get around to it someday to form an opinion on it, but I've already heard so much back and forth on the subject I'm kinda tired of kitsune stuff without even having touched it.

How about this then. Assuming Brienne did push your buttons (whatever they are), but your player character was able to devote the time to each character in their harem due to some sort of power?
Still doesn't appeal to me. I just don't think lovey-dovey romance works if it's spread out too far or is too one-sided.

Is this a canonically acknowledged thing? I always assumed that the PC being able to switch classes is simply for gameplay reasons, and not something the story actually grants them. I might have missed something, though.

CoC1 generally associated sex with corruption. Previously, you gave examples of CoC1 characters that had sharing content, and most of them were corrupt. Over time, CoC1 did add more sharing content in. And, Savin wrote for CoC1, and the characters he puts the most work into tend to have a similar theme (Helia, Anno, Cait). TiTs is much more of a power fantasy because Fen as the lead wanted it that way. Savin doesn't like power fantasies, so he dialed it back in CoC2 since he was the lead.

Characters aren't polyamorous because the PC is polyamorous. Characters are polyamorous because the writers either like that content, and/or prefer writing two characters interacting because they have a concrete visualization of the character, while the PC is a transformation blob that requires accounting for parsers. That also leads to threesomes which should be about all three of the characters, but at times the PC gets sidelined over the two NPCs.

If the writers didn't like poly content, then the character wouldn't have it written. Brienne has a strict rule on that, even though Savin wants to write threesome content for her. This isn't even because Wsan dislikes poly content. I think he knows Brienne would drop in popularity if it happened.

At least the subset of CoC2 patreon supporters appear to prefer monogamy.

I don't know the situation of Summertime Saga, so I can't really comment on it.

Spread out, like in game time, or out of game real life time? Also, what do you mean by one-sided?

Yes. One example of it affecting the ingame story directly (not just game mechanics) is Kinu. She's an extremely fast learner, so fast that her mother teaches her the wrong thing in an event because she's jealous. Kinu gets frustrated when she has difficulting learning how to use her first weapon because she's never before had difficulty learning something quickly. This is because she inherited her father's ability to learn things quickly.

Since all of Kiyoko's named floof children are intended to reflect some aspect or other of the Champion, Kinu represents the Champion's ability to learn things at a frightful rate — she seems to instinctively grasp any idea or concept she comes across, mastering skills in the blink of an eye. Where Kiyoko has had a very, very long time in captivity on the astral plane to learn what she has, Kinu simply absorbs information at the same breakneck speed the Champion exhibits.
Level 20 cap...
Looks like I'll lose my sanity throughout the grinding experience. :KEK: :KEK: :KEK: :KEK:
Sorry, I used the wrong changelog. The mod was different from the one I posted. I've updated things with the correct changelog.

I think you're misunderstanding something here: I'm not talking about sharing content, I'm talking about the nature and expectations of the relationships themselves.

Every relationship and every character in this game is an open relationship, including Kiyoko and Brienne and all the Champ-centric characters. They don't expect your character to be exclusive to them, and your character also does not have any expectations of exclusivity from them. The fact that said characters only bang your champ is simply from lack of interest, not from the restrictions of the relationship itself. You have a conversation with both Kiyoko and Brienne about this exact thing.

That's what I mean, and that's what's been the same in all three games. No jealousy, and no in universe expectation of monogamy either way in the relationship, even if monogamy is enforced on the writer's side.

At least the subset of CoC2 patreon supporters appear to prefer monogamy.
I don't think that's what those polls say...at all. Just that group sex isn't very high on the fetish list, not that they prefer monogamous relationships. It's a couple of leaps to extrapolate that.

Does polyamory hurt the plot? It's also widely illogical, and very rarely works in real life.
Not really. I can buy basically an open relationship. A relationship that's only open one way is a much harder sell.

Spread out, like in game time, or out of game real life time? Also, what do you mean by one-sided?
Nothing to do with time, just the dilution of affection. And "one-sided", meaning a relationship where one side is clearly more invested than the other.

Yes. One example of it affecting the ingame story directly (not just game mechanics) is Kinu. Of course it would be in the part of the game I've never done.

I am pretty sure, if Cait could be bred, 30% of the hate cait has would probably be avoid, but that still leaves 70% of DOOM....
I personally find little fault with the character involving their sterility, it mostly stems from the grooming tbh, in the early days I was fine with her being the town bike even but the more I learned about her religion and the more they expanded on it...

Anyone got this Electron wrapper thingy to work? It tries to load the index.html through file://, and the browser promptly (and rightfully) refuses to do that, as it should. So how has this ever worked?

Ended up just serving it via a local https server with self signed certs instead,
