Not to rob you guy lovers from anything but I am already imagining a genderbent FemTetsuya.

It'd be disappointing, sure, but it's the writer's fault if the character goes that long without content. Like you said, Sera was done well so it's obviously not unfeasible to do.But my caveat is, that, in this type of development stretched out over a period of years, some idea of general direction for a character is preferable. Getting invested in a character, waiting possibly years for content, then having that content go in a completely different direction from the character's initial draw would be deflating to anyone I think.
This would fall under the objectively shit category I was talking about. I'm not saying we should bend every character to our will. I mean I just said I don't want these characters to be bastardized with out of character dream scenes. Like I said, I'm not asking for every single character to have multiple routes. Just more than what we currently have.Mmmm...I strongly disagree. Characters already have lives, thoughts, and personalities fully formed before you showed up. Turning lifelong subs into doms, or hoes into housewives so to speak is a significant swerve to a character. There should be reasoning and thought behind it, and it shouldn't happen often. It cheapens characters when your PC can just puppet anyone into exactly what they like. Depth isn't necessarily created by options. You turn a bunch of characters into build-a-bears that you can change into whatever you want, and you end up with less than you started with.
I'm not upset though? Does discussing things make people upset now? Hell, I really like Evelynn's current iteration. I'm just saying what I think would make the game a better and more well-written experience.Getting upset over character lacking a route that conforms with one's preferences is also people's own problem. We can dismiss pretty much any concern in this manner. As you say yourself:
You're not really understanding what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to emphasize that all the work that went on these frivolous characters would be better spent on making more paths and fleshing out existing characters. In fact, your argument supports what I'm trying to say.No, this is always an issue which is unavoidable -- if you have multiple venues to cover, then what you're able to produce will be divided between them. As a result, each of multiple paths is going to be smaller than a single path which would receive all that work.
This will be true even if you have a single character in your whole game. No amount of empty platitudes is going to cover up for this. It's just basic math.
More characters is not inherently good. I would take one character with depth over 10 shallow ones.On yet another hand, if you opt for 3 paths over 3 separate characters, then there's one more drawback to it -- it means that, no matter which of the paths the player goes for, you have just one character in the game, vs 3 characters with distinct --if fixed-- personalities.
This isn't really an issue seeing as how we're supposed to be at the very edge of civilization anyway. Besides, people aren't playing these games for a populated world.Your game world is visibly less populated,
That's a risk with literally any character you can possibly make. I don't see how this factors into anything. Some people are going to be disappointed/not like the content no matter where the content is being directed when it comes to these games. It's impossible to please everybody.and at the end of the day you still don't avoid the risk the player will just dismiss your multi-path character outright, because they don't like their appearance, gender, species or whatever.
Well jstar does the pc's dialogue as narration like we've seen before. Tetsuya himself is a prince so his dialogue is overally stiff, flowerly, and formal (but it's not a huge deal). The "romance" happens within a handful of days. You meet him, trigger a talk or two, then get the decision to romance him or not. If you choose yes he says he loves you and then you can get to the baby-making (literally cuz he wants a child). The sex scene was okay. I stopped playing for the moment but I might return later to see how the pregnancy content is at least.Keep us informed, but what are your current grievences?
I didn't say you were upset over it. You were talking about theoretical people who might be upset by extra routes they had no personal interest in, and i was similarly talking about theoretical people who might be upset by lack of extra routes they wanted.I'm not upset though? Does discussing things make people upset now?
No, i think we're focusing on different aspects of what was discussed. We should keep in mind that talk about the "shallow characters" is basically a red herring -- these characters were already made. They can't be magically undone, with all the work put into them just spontaneously becoming new routes for other characters. You're not really understanding what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to emphasize that all the work that went on these frivolous characters would be better spent on making more paths and fleshing out existing characters. In fact, your argument supports what I'm trying to say.
But more routes per character is not inherently good either, and that's basically what was originally claimed (and what's disputed)More characters is not inherently good. I would take one character with depth over 10 shallow ones.
Well then, what do you think people are playing these games for? Because i think it's a reasonable presumption it is "porn content" in the sense of sex scenes involving a variety of characters. And as such, reducing the number of available characters works directly against meeting this expectation. This isn't really an issue seeing as how we're supposed to be at the very edge of civilization anyway. Besides, people aren't playing these games for a populated world.
Wait how do you have to wait a few days........... Wasn't it doing the kitsune missions and then going to talk to him? Now I feel like a fool XDWell jstar does the pc's dialogue as narration like we've seen before. Well I haven't tried sex yet but what I've seen so far I can say that it seemed like the intro of a game to make characters fall in love and he's the typical prince with his special vision of the world, it's not bad ........ ... It was really interesting, although he sends you hints that he wants to have children and how he wants to be a good father to them.Keep us informed, but what are your current grievences?
sounds like Sera from TiTsImma sound real dumb for asking this but who the flying fuck is Sera? keep hearing is a well-written character but can't remember interacting with her for the life of me.
Shes a character from tits a futa dom or sub based on your choicesImma sound real dumb for asking this but who the flying fuck is Sera? keep hearing is a well-written character but can't remember interacting with her for the life of me.
I'd prefer a short hair pretty boy but this is fine. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Although I have not played it yet, I can tell you that I have rarely been excited about an update.
Now there's a totally valid reason to go to the kitsune.......... I don't give a damn if he has a femininity restriction, although I would have liked a slightly more masculine face.

4. Yes. No.How many characters can you marry so far? And can you marry more than one? If yes, are there any consequences?
And then you have Ryn who is feminine as all hell, Savin goes out of his way to beat it into your head how Ryn is a woman, but you can't dedick her.... because of reasons? The real answer is, and always has been, that it's all about what the writer wants to do with their character and any reasoning they give you is just post hoc justification. If Savin wasn't into cocks you'd bet your ass Ryn wouldn't have had one to begin with. Same with Tobs and his whack ass Princess Maker warped fetish to raise a daughter and fantasize about some dude boning her.The thing is, it needs to be obvious from the initial content that the character is designed for that.
I mean, yes? Savin does not want Ryn to have a vagina, there is really no need for him to give any more justifications beyond that. You can question him and ask him personally why he made such decision, and disagree with him, but vilinizing him is a step to far in my book. The real answer is, and always has been, that it's all about what the writer wants to do with their character and any reasoning they give you is just post hoc justification.
And this game, and the writers, consider girls with dicks equally as womanly as ones that just have vaginas. Because having one does not make one less or more of a woman. And then you have Ryn who is feminine as all hell, Savin goes out of his way to beat it into your head how Ryn is a woman, but you can't dedick her....
How about two dicks??? Ehhh....no, its still not enough, its only two pp not a big deal at all, forget it.Because having one does not make one less or more of a woman.
