It wasn't really meant to be that way. Fen wasn't even the person who wrote it (Quiet Bowser if I'm not mistaken. Let's check... Yep.). He just stood by the person who wrote it and took all the backlash himself. With the usual (at the time) Fen response.

That thing with the futa catgirl (Katherine?) on the other hand? I can't remember who wrote that. I undoubtedly have it recorded somewhere. But, given the amount of work the player has to go through to even make that happen at all (an approach I wholeheartedly approve of) it wasn't looked at too unfavorably.

Comparisons to Takahiro
Unlike Takahiro, Urta can be reduced into a whimpering crying mess (you scoundrel) several times throughout that relationship. The one of applicable here was for her being drunk (Bubs just wrote Takahiro threatening to whoop our tail and we acquiesce like a "champion") and that relationship handled the worst of that way before you had to do her quest.

You could get her to minimize or aggravate her drinking after you started going steady. I can't remember if it's before or after the quest or even if it was Urta who eventually tosses you the keys to her house afterwards. Still, what's more important is that despite all of the shenanigans, the character was inarguably written for the player.

Compare all of that to Takahiro who was only written for Bubs to self insert. Probably in some vain attempt to see people compliment his OC and then getting flim flammed when everybody started hating both it and him.


Still Urta never really recovered community wise from the two really bad decisions centered around her:

• Urta Quest being ye olde Kinu quest, taking nearly an entire year of development time for something nobody wanted. And...
• Amily

Given that threesome "intro" never got changed? Justifiably so.
For better or worse, Fenoxo learned a lesson that day.

Holy shit bruh! That is another thing I was so glad knowing about going in. I really liked Amily's character with that slow romantic, family life build up. And getting to meet all the children too? Oh, Chef's Kiss. And although many have thrown her to the wayside. I liked Urta too with having to slowly build her confidence and romance. Was actually surprising that they not only allowed it. But had so many opportunities to break her.

But man if I had stumbled across that scene organically. Especially years later with no place to vent? Bruh.

The thing with Urta was that, either through sheer luck or the modders deciding to just dump that on the cutting room floor, I never got the possible event of Amily dumping the player for her.

Doesn't even make too much sense, Urta's not exactly the most noble of characters (even if she's not bad for a guard, she's not exactly romantic material for Amily unless the PC really screwed up) and only really improves if the champion bothers with her.

Hell, by all accounts, one should probably expect Amily to return whimpering back to the camp in sadness that such a relationship crumbles the day after or something.

You forgot that after getting beaten by Champ a dozen or so times, she goes and charges some demon stronghold (can't be assed to remember which one) on her own. Expectedly she gets gangraped, which you find out after the fact when you see her covered in cum and crying.

It's a weird sequence, but generally CoC1 treats rape on defeat as a mild inconvenience for the PC and most characters. I think its weird the writer wanted us to see her post rape being sad, because it is tonally inconsistent. If I were to rewrite that sequence, I would have Kiha run off to whatever stronghold/outpost, but then the PC have an option to go after her, and save or get bad ended alongside her.

I say this as the resident Trapitalist ITT, I like me some feminine looking people with dongers. It's nice. But, I think CoC2 has too much of them to the point where every time you meet a lady, she has a record breaking salami under her skirt and is looking to refurbish your colon. Futa is great, traps are nice, and a femboy can be sweet. But if you have too many of them, they quickly become overpowering and meaningless because they are all the same. Hollow sex dolls that have no personality and are just avatars of the hack writers one handed writing ability.

Also, it's something embedded in the setting. Both TITS and COC2 are never ending orgies and you as the player are expected to jump from one to another while doing other stuff, and part of that setting include futas domming everyone. This is a consequence of the writing team being really into it and their audience being really into it too

You deal with a delulu dragon girl screaming 'I will never be deafeateddddddd" and then getting mollywhomped by you 20 times, and after a while I just got tired of dealing with her. She's better than most of the CoC2 cast, but I do wish there was a bit more payoff, or let her have her own Helia style quest. She's a good girl, but she's just so tiring

See that is 32 flavors of retarded. It only happens if you romance both... so bad thing only happens out of the blue, if you play the game like normal? Got it. All it does is setup for a threesome... so ignore the dicking down beforehand that is the crux of the issue? Cool. There was absolutely no other way to set a 3some up. Then the be a dick option. It's either that or act like everything was acceptable. Can't remember the exact words. But the MC was like 2 steps away from giving an accepting nod. Be a dick was the closest thing to being angry about it. And that led to you getting guilt tripped and Amily going poof back to Urta.

Some people wanting more threesomes, is not everyone wanting it. Asking for threesomes is not asking for one character to run behind your back and engaging in fuckery. Without you having any say. Especially if the reasoning and logic behind it is dumb as hell. And it was a conscience decision to pick the more wholesome, family orientated character. To do it with.

Again, the scene didn't bother me because I knew it was coming. Hell I used the debug to try and see it out of curiosity. See what all the hubbub was about. But it's the level of braindead you have to be. To do it, not expect it to go over poorly, be surprised, and then mad at everyone else. It's like paying someone to mow a lawn. And they mow half too low, other half too high, with bald spots all over. Then they get mad at you, when you criticize the job done.

Honestly I think that's a fine, and is a good character beat. It's in line with her personality, her pride can't accept that she's weaker than you and tries to prove to herself that she's hot shit, only to bite off more than she can chew. It's good stuff, and the consequences of her actions fit the world. I'm not even entirely sure if it's Savin's brand of cuck shit since it's non-con and she obviously feels bad for it, the opposite of what he usually writes.

Fairly in line with her character n consequences in CoC1, God knows how many times my PC went through it because I forgot to save n couldn't be bothered to go through a whole 2hrs of grinding.
