Urta was really only villainized due to a community perceived slight in handling donation funds, how long Fen spent on that quest, and her "threesome setup" with Amily is just being you getting cucked by Urta and walking in on them raw dogging. The entire thing was obviously a bad idea to literally everybody but Fen and the writer whose names eludes me right now .

Urta herself wasn't like some shining beacon of morality or perseverance. She was a drunk who sometimes made bad decisions with a loada character flaws. I never really disliked her probably because of those flaws.

Urta is just OG CoC's version of Takahiro. Lol.

Also, this. Doing her quest was giving something like +20 points towards true ending. While shutting down the factory and saving Marae only gave +4 (or +6, I don't remember). What a fucking joke.
According to the wiki: Urta's quest gives 30 points towards the best ending. While Marae doesn't give any good points, only subtracts them if you got her corrupted.

I think I'll pass on this one. I believe I had Olivia killed and the wolves genderbent through save editing. Nothing against Jstar's efforts, far from it, but I have very little trust on Tobs.

Korean Manhwa is always laughable, though. I swear, I read better Gary Stu in the 2000's from 15 year olds.

I think there's some sort of social factor that contributes to it but given Manhwa's constant host takedown efforts, I've refrained from checking them out.

Plus, Manhuas are far better in their sincere insanity.

I guarantee if they were left to their own devices, not obligated to write up a champion or to appease a playerbase enough to keep it, they'd be writing Manhwas of their characters that even the Koreans would point and laugh at as Mary Sues.

Probably the case with the well-known culpirits but I feel most would've worked well with a player-centric system.

SKoW is always deployed for pointless filler. It's more productive to doom Cait post or muse on how TOBs will inevitably backstab dum dums with Olivia.

You have to do a lot of shit wrong, make every place on Mareth actively worse, and let a lot of people escape and ALSO still want your "pure" ending where you fix everything for Urta's quest to save your playthrough. Which itself would require very specific routing because you can make the world more fucked than is possible to fix in your lifetime

WELP! Coming in with a potential hot take. Carmilla made my balls hot. I liked her look, her attitude, and her voice. Character didn't bother me because I wanted to tame that bitch. Bend her over one knee and give her spankies until she calls me daddy. Why? I have no idea. Usually I'm in a similar boat where characters like that annoy. But for some reason, she did it for me.


Now to keep from going all off topic. I'm going to bust a U-turn and head back to a previous topic. This Olivia chick. Normally I don't care all that much about characters. But she is sporting two of my weaknesses. The half lupine and orange hair/fur. Plus she got that hoity-toity look going on. Which hints she has a certain personally and that screams I gotta break her. Just off design alone they got me by the gonads.

Now the idea of almost 200 pages of pure TOBS. Honestly makes me a bit flaccid. It being 1 out of 3! content packs. And it feels like it might be retreating inward now. But for my weaknesses, I'm willing to possibly risk it. So how is she as a character? Is my flaccidity from TOBS being linked to her valid? Or did he do ok? And if you want to do me an extra solid. Is the knot cave itself even worth a squirt?

WELP! Coming in with a potential hot take. Carmilla made my balls hot. I liked her look, her attitude, and her voice. Character didn't bother me because I wanted to tame that bitch. Bend her over one knee and give her spankies until she calls me daddy. Why? I have no idea. Usually I'm in a similar boat where characters like that annoy. But for some reason, she did it for me.


Now to keep from going all off topic. I'm going to bust a U-turn and head back to a previous topic. This Olivia chick. Normally I don't care all that much about characters. But she is sporting two of my weaknesses. The half lupine and orange hair/fur. Plus she got that hoity-toity look going on. Which hints she has a certain personally and that screams I gotta break her. Just off design alone they got me by the gonads.

Now the idea of almost 200 pages of pure TOBS. Honestly makes me a bit flaccid. It being 1 out of 3! content packs. And it feels like it might be retreating inward now. But for my weaknesses, I'm willing to possibly risk it. So how is she as a character? Is my flaccidity from TOBS being linked to her valid? Or did he do ok? And if you want to do me an extra solid. Is the knot cave itself even worth a squirt?

I'd say go for it, knot cave is short enough you won't loose time and the loot is good, either a bimbo army or Olivia, can't have them both because reasons (and there's this monster with the magician guy they don't let yoi take to the fort, I wanted that thing too)

Also, corrupt Drifa if you want to make her into an e-goth girl

You can give Cait a new set too if you're into that, not judging

Tobs wasn't at full power while writing her, there's some mistakes here and there, still you might enjoy her because yeah, she got that bratty attitude that screams "do me, do me and put me in my place"

You can get the best ending without even interacting with Urta.
Those points only matter if you're doing a comically evil playthrough but for whatever reason still want an ending where you bloodlessly save the world within your lifetime

You have to do a lot of shit wrong, make every place on Mareth actively worse, and let a lot of people escape and ALSO still want your "pure" ending where you fix everything for Urta's quest to save your playthrough. Which itself would require very specific routing because you can make the world more fucked than is possible to fix in your lifetime

Wasn't Empuse punished or something and that's why she had the bug body?, I remember she dispatch some soldiers and then, after the fight if you show mercy she tries to help you

To this day I don't know who is Urta, another year of no playing CoC1
