I played this update and sorry to say it but the haggle minigame sucks.
The odds are 100% against you. Its so obvious. In 11 minigames, the computer got 4 times 20 points. It never happened to me.
And when it was 19 for the machine, it rolled the 1 needed for that 20 two times in a row. Its so stupid.
I dont think its a bad idea, its just completely unfair for the player.
After that i just stopped haggling and accept those 50 bucks as if the haggle minigame never existed.

Hey there! I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. I want to assure you that the minigame is not rigged in any way. It seems like you had an extremely unlucky streak. The dice rolls are generated using in-game 3D physics to ensure fairness.
To make it up to you, I'll be adding cheat codes to the game soon, and I'll personally send them to you. I really appreciate you playing the game and being a part of testing new mechanics. The game is still a work in progress, and your feedback is incredibly valuable. My intention is to create a balanced experience where players feel rewarded when they unlock new scenes, without making it too challenging or frustrating.

No problem. It might have sound like i hate the game or the minigame but thats not the case. Seems like i just had horrible luck.

It just means that I am using Godot 3D physics to emulate dice rolls. Each draw, I randomize the angle and the force of the dice launch then I just read the results. From the test, it seems it is enough to not be biased toward any results.

That's for sure an interesting approach. I wish you good luck and success with your game and I really like your artwork.
I really want to try out the game properly, but the very early game is borderline unplayable. I have already gone through a couple of days, I can use the PC twice, get the girl on cam 2-3 times, respond to chat messages and that's it. You get a max of 35 gold per day and you need ~350 (accounting debt) to even get a basic shower room... I think the shower room should be free, you just need to work on it to fix it. Also, please let us skip the messages completely if we've seen them once before, waiting for them to pass over after the 50th time is getting a bit annoying. Other than that the game looks very nice, I love the art, and I hope to see more.
PS.
I keep on missclicking on the main character to go to sleep which sets me back each time... Instead of +35g i get-10. Can you please make it so you perform actions by actually clicking on the objects instead of the wheel? Or at least add a confirmation "Yes, go to sleep" if it's still daytime? Additionally, a forced "REST" (Not SLEEP) action would be nice, so I can force my characters to rest and regain stamina.
PS2. Okay, after buying the showers I see that getting contracts was also an option, faster, cheaper? I think you should put that into the tutorial too, right now it focuses on getting cleaned, didn't notice the ability to get other girls tbh.
PS3. Tried Contracts... It is pure RNG. Please rework it into something that can be done reliably. For example you can check out haggling in Potion Craft.
PS4. The time during events etc, does not stop. I think it should, if you go into an even in the morning you usually just waste a whole day doing nothing and lose money.

Thanks for your feedback. I see there is a lot of QoL improvement I can make. And yes, contracts help a lot with money, but I will probably increase the daily earnings. And I agree with the confirmation message before you go to sleep (if the day has not ended).
Rest action is a cool suggestion.

Small suggestion: Any way to bind a key like spacebar to the message skip button? Or am I just stupid and there is already a button? Those on laptop may get tired using the trackpad click.

Hey! No you are right, there is no skip button! I'll add it to the next update (Alpha 13) and probably use CTRL (default in ren'py so user might be used to that!).Thanks!

really nice game in development.

- cute art but at the same time alluring female designs (Violet specifically)
- being able to customise the MC is nice touch
- the gameplay is actually fun, each of the two minigames are unique - really enjoyed the dating-card game
- but the haggle-dice rolling takes too long in comparison to the game running in the background
- the fact that a mini event activates when the MC bathes at the same time as Violet adds a charming realism (except that the scene repeats itself as if it never happened before): more of this while increase the fun of exploring the game
- the frenchie at the reception needs some sort of activity to help with the daily expense/pull her weight - maybe cleaning the characters' rooms gives them some hygiene boost or she can grind some new point that helps upkeep the hotel
- grinding hearts takes a while, perhaps MC talking or interacting (like in the bathroom) with the girls can give a little boost to heart points as well but maybe it feels like it takes a while because there isn't anything else to multitask/do given the game is in early development
- interactive H scenes is great
- some sfx would be a nice touch to the H scenes, esp the interactive mechanics; and maybe a gauge to fill for the girl to orgasm
