Speaking of the crazy man-hating feminist, I want to know when she's going to have her little talk with the MC and what it's about. I mean, is he going to keep ignoring her until she comes to the cafe and strips for him just to get his attention?

Her rape shit has to come from somewhere though; maybe a relative of hers? Maybe she was groped or something against her will. It had to start from somewhere. Perhaps her father fucked up with her mother? I'm dying to know when they're going to have their little talk.

I hope it's soon.

I've been in classrooms in middle and high school that had the double occupancy desks decently spaced out, like the ones in a classroom from the earlier versions.

As for the kitchen, I personally love spacious kitchens like that, giving people enough room to move around in, especially if they get a third person in there (which I'm assuming at some point will be Akari). Being a cook myself, I feel more comfortable in bigger kitchens. The one in my last apartment in Boston was claustrophobic.
More surfaces to clean ;)

Rachel's spot should be kneeling at the foot of the bed like a good pet should do.
Also it would be nice if the the grandfather had money set back for the grandson that absolutely nobody like the asshats that ruined him knew about.
Maybe the MC finds a hidden safe or a clue somewhere pertaining to it, even if it's a couple thousand or more.

While it would be nice to see the MCs and the girls money problems disappear, I feel like it would do a disservice to the story and to the MC as a character if he suddenly came into a bunch of money through no effort of his own. I think it will be really satisfying if there is a time skip and we see the MC and the girls have built their wealth on their own.

A time skip is useful to avoid showing repetitive tasks and boring parts that can be mentioned in simple text or flashback but it could also be perceived as lazy if no used correctly, so I think it should be done after accomplishing something big that elevates theirs status and living standards.

Yeah, an epilogue kind of thing.

It is not a new opinion on here but Rachel is horrendous I could not want less to do with her. Maybe instead of her being in the Harem she just get's a nice rusty hammer jill off with.

It took me about six or seven playthroughs for me to tolerate Rachel, but I have to admit, that initial run, my FUCKING sweet God I hated her, and the only other VN character I hated THAT much was the husband, I think his name was John, in "A Mother's Love".

I trust Cosy to have a hell of a redemption arc for her that makes her at least redeemable in the eyes of the MC and his girls, and I'm sure that has to do with whatever conversation she wants to have with the MC. She's the way she is for a reason, and I want to know what it is that caused her to be the way she is. It has to do with her home life or living situation I'm pretty sure.

Being new to the game I'm trusting those who have followed it for longer when it comes to her being worthwhile, aside from the "Master" stuff which I never like, I am enjoying it. Lucy is too pure for this world, haha.

Yeah, not a fan of the 'master/maledom' thing either, didn't think it would be that pronounced, it's borderline rape-y at times for 'reasons', also kind of weirded out how the MC is the wisest person around, while he's only 18.

That said, I also enjoy it, the girls have an actual background, the way they're written they all pretty much have a reason to be like they are, and I also like that they need to work to get by, otherwise they'll lose everything, if they'd be rich, the cafe wouldn't mean anything at all. And yeah, Lucy is great, Victoria too, heck I'm just on day 11 (so yeah, everything I said before could potentially change by the end of this update) but I like getting to know girls better.

Writing is everything to me, so far kudos to the dev.

I agree with the Master/Slave/Maledom thing; it isn't high on my list either of male protagonists. If he belittled them, I wouldn't be as invested in the game that I am. Yeah certain girls "require" the MC being a douche to them (like Rachel, some towards Catherine) but he doesn't outright demean them, and some of the things he does I guess can be considered a little...creepy.

In my four years of so of being here (under other accounts), most of the games I played I was loyal to one girl, and always stuck with that girl (like Katie from CoBD or Bella from Sisterly Lust), but once I got involved with the harem games, I started doing them, but in those games I had a choice who to add or not to the harem, so they weren't kinetic like this one is.

Having said that, this is the only VN I have installed, my dozens of others I've had have fallen off for one reason or another (mostly crappy or "milking" devs). I always refer to this game as a "Harem Hotel set in a a cafe" game, but I love the main four girls, I love the writing, and will probably do at least one or two more runs before the next update comes out.

I like Rachel, she is annoying, yes, but in my opinion she is annoying in a good way. I find her antics kinda funny, and she never really crossed any lines until a recent update. Also from a meta perspective her character adds a lot of good moments where the girls get to stand up for themselves and the MC. I have said this a few times already, if the other characters in the story took her seriously then she would be a far more annoying character.

I never read any of the things the MC does as rapey. He is a little creepy when he looks down Lucy's shirt when she specifically asked him not to (in the section where they clean the bathrooms), but I dont think that is really THAT bad when compared to a lot of other VN protagonists. Some of the stuff he does with Sarah might be bad, but my take as a reader was that the MC always knew when to stop, and he also would 100% stop if a girl said stop. In fact with the most masochistic of the girls he is still gentle with her when situation calls for it.
I just finished writing that section then I remembered the teacher and her story, I wasn't really a fan of her story (mainly because if she knew it was him then she wouldn't have been ok him doing that stuff) but as of recent updates I think its still a little creepy, but much less bad, just my take of course.

I am not really a fan of maledom stuff either, but for some reason with this VN it just works. The spanking is another thing I am not really into, but in this I like it. I think the reason for that is because the MC is (to me) a pretty good guy, he clearly cares about the girls and wants the best for them. I agree with Mark here, if the MC demeaned any of the girls then it would put a really sour taste in my mouth.

I'm here to call you all boring. The "Master" shit is great, so is the spanking and all the maledom aspects.

On top of me just personally enjoying these things however, they do actually make the MCs authority over his girls a bit more reasonable. One or two girls like Victoria that naturally fall into a very submissive role can be fun, but anymore and my already thinly held suspension of disbelief cracks.

Cosy has nicely skirted round this problem by putting the girls in situations and just generally an environment which encourages them to submit, in various different ways and degrees, to the MC.

This means that every girl has a line of logic, a progression of scenes you can follow, that explains their current submission to the MC.
It makes sense that Lucy behaves as she does because on Day 7 so and so happened, and how could Sarah not feel that way when on Day 18 this happened... and so on and so on.

Before you know it the MC has a harem of girls that look to him for guidance and affection, and despite how far fetched a scenario we are in it seems like a reasonable conclusion to all the events that preceded it.

And we have "Master", the spanking, the maledom aspects, to thank for that. The markers of the MC's authority built into the story from day one, which guided the narrative and the relationships into the place we all hold in such high regard today.

Certain fetishes cause a visceral reaction on some people, femdom and NTR game threads have some people losing their marbles over the content, I've seen the same thing happening in some harem threads so it's only natural one of the few maledom games in the site gets criticized.

I enjoy the maledom and agree it is key to the story.

I don't like the teacher, in part because she isn't my type, and in part because it is the one place I feel the MC goes over the line. Yeah, he goes into grey areas with some of the other girls but he's young and there's no BDSM academy he can go to. But the stuff on the train and the restroom, especially with his own teacher? He's just exploiting the situation, which makes it easy to see him as exploiting the other girls.

As mentioned before, I really wish the teacher content was avoidable/skipable. Love the rest of the story.

Contrary to a lot of people that don't like her, I do like the teacher appearance and shyness (although I think it's too much for someone who wanted to be a teacher and went through years of college to be one). But I agree with most that the subway things are too much, I feel like it's a bit out of character for the MC to do that.

Perhaps if the MC had saved her and she saw it was him right at the scene things would be different, nothing would happen or perhaps it would, but I think if we went with the "fell in love because her prince saved her" would be really shit and I really don't want that from a game I like the story a lot. You could point and say that MC "saved" Sarah, but they already had their bickerings that made them close, or you could say MC "saved" Lucy from her abusive mother, but her shyness and sweetness captivated the MC and they bonded with each other before, like when cleaning the Café at the start. It's not JUST the "prince saved her" trope for either of them and that's very nice compared to lots of media (not just porn games) that do that.

What I do want to see though is her being introduced to the house, I really really want to see how the interaction between the girls and her would go. I imagine that she would feel super embarassed with Hannah there (cuz she is all rich and all that), but if it was just Lucy and Victoria both of them would probably embrace her. I wanted to see if Victoria would make fun of her and she would get hurt (like it happened with Sarah in specific scene). But I also want to see her grow a pair of balls and personality with MC (and her sister-wives) help and for her to grow out of her shell, kinda like how MC was there for Akatsuki and she now speaks more and more, even if bits by bits (I love that btw, her talking is a lot better than just little squirms and gestures)

Sorry for the big text, but I always wanted to talk about her. Have a :coffee: as an apology
