Having another betrayal would be overdoing it. We had one, early in the game, for another to happen now or in the future would be going back to the same well one too many times, eventually poisoning it.
Oh, yeah, it's not that kind of story. I didn't really realize I just gave two betrayals as example
My point was, I don't expect massive drama or tragedy.
Catherine I think is going to go with the MC to the meeting with Hamilton on Wednesday, and I think that'll be the night she becomes a trusted girl by the MC
She should be there and I was genuenly surprised it wasnt mentioned in this update. After all, she has demonstrated that at the very least she would be neutral in his struggles with Hamilton and after she managed him so aptly during the contest I expected him to think of it himself. I guess Lucy would have to open his eyes again. Or he would do the stupid thing and the Hamiltons would invite her and as you say - this is probably where their alliance would form.
Alison having a negative "I told you so" moment would make no sense either, since she's hitching herself and Hannah to his team. She even said it herself in one of their office visits and she further said in this last update that she's not planning against him.
Well, it was almost spelled that there will be something to dicredit her (and I expect it to be jucy, but "depends on how you look at it" thing). And I'll be real, Alison, unless she has been a remarkable liar all along plain has no other options then the MC. She is easy to trust, because it's either him, or nothing. Hannah is in the same boat, but worse (she would actually HAVE to marry Brain... scary option, ngl). While I don't want to assume bad things... Cosy has done a remarkable job to essentially throw only girls that have no other option at the MC - most of them are easy to trust even for cynical bastards like me

.
We have a very long road to get to where we have to go, and I expect some trouble along the way (Brian, Gloria, Vicky's Dad, Lucy's Mom) but looking at the people the MC has around him and how devoted he is to the girls and them to him, I'm pretty sure they can manage it. We can already see the tension ease between Hannah and Catherine, since now either one can't be with him without the other knowing and giving permission.
We also have a time-limit now. Couple of months or so (tho, with the pace the game has been going on that's almost eternity

). So either the MC ups his game or a lot of plans are gonna get fucked. Overall, while a bit on the rushed side, this update moved that part of the story forward by a lot.
I'm personally expecting though at some point the cafe to be ransacked somehow. I've had this thought for a long time. Brian and his thug maybe? Just a thought, but I've had it for many months.
It's been on my mind a lot, too, but I kinda doubt it. Strictly speaking, the cafe doesn't matter - loosing it won't make him lose his vote and only an idiot would turn him in to another Reggie, cementing Hamiltons rule for... a while. And honestly, it's Cosy, we ain't choosing who to drag out of the burning cafe - Lucy or Vicki

Like, it can work, but it must also kill the MC to work and if such stuff was allowed, there wouldn't be Founding Families left. So, idk, maybe some broken glass, but I seriously dobut anything worse would happen.
