while i get the games chill and everyone's apparently happy and onboard with the relationships, it felt to me like Claire was manipulating the entire situation to be with Amy and the MC was either to dumb to see it or didn't care, while its a Harem game and everything is consensual it still felt meh to me since it felt planned all along for this to happen.

There's several hints and obvious moments where Claire obviously had feeling for Amy before they even reunited along with there history.

it felt dirty that's all, if this happened in real life it would be a fucked up scenario if you found out that your girlfriend manipulated you so she could sleep with her friend without it being cheating, while i know that's not how the story is portrayed per say its apparent that was her intent, and sure the MC gets some too but if i was in his shoes i would of been very suspicious about how things progressed and there history together before she met mc.

Wait... let me unpack this:

1- You seem to suspect that Claire had a thing for Amy
2- That she invited Amy and Katie to live with them so she could get into her pants
3- And she created a situation where she could do it without cheating

That seems to be your argument, right?

Now, the mutual attraction between Clair and Amy was obvious, completely in the open and the MC even asks his girlfriend if she feels that way, she confirms, asks if he has any issue with it, to what he says he doesn't. So, nothing underhanded, hidden, or manipulative.

Claire only picks up the idea and runs with it, after Amy buying a random magazine while waiting for Katie, where she finds an article about Open Relationships and/or swinging. Amy mentions the article, lighting up a fire in Claire's crotch. She can now see a way to keep her beloved boyfriend and maybe fulfill an old desire and have Amy too. So, if anything, it's Amy's fault for buying that magazine, reading that article and mentioning it to Claire.

The relationship between the 4 of them evolves to something where there's no cheating, no jealousy, no manipulations, no deceit.

And after all this, you still feel that:
1- Your Girlfriend created a situation where you now have 3 girlfriends
2- That she did it because she wanted to have a relationship with her BFF
3- And that even if you now have 3x more pussy, you lost something..........

Mate, I think you need therapy. Or get laid. Maybe both.

Hello everyone,

since "Couples" has come to an end, I want to talk to you a bit about my next game, "Game Night".
The game is going to be quite similar in structure than my previous games. You will again play as a male main character and there will be three main female characters to keep you company. Their names are Sophie, Taylor and Lisa.

Concerning the schedule, I will continue the same schedule with a new part at the end of every month. The first one will be released at the end of this month already. Patron tiers will also remain the same.
I don't want to give too much away about the story, but I think it's safe to say that if you liked my previous games, you'll probably enjoy this one too

You're not wrong. I like an occoasional AVN or anime that makes me happy because it is satisfying and well-written. Not sure either apply to Couples, though, really.

If a dev can't do either/both of those, and they refuse to add any "shocked, scared, disgusted, etc." to their game to make it interesting, I do think players have a right to expect 'at least mildly arousing' from an AVN.

So for me criticising the boring "lewd"-but-not-at-ALL-lewd scenes is fair game. The sex scenes in Couples are so robotic that having a blind grandfather read technical descriptions of intercourse from Gray's Anatomy would probably be more erotic. You can fuck up a lot of things as a dev, but if you have lousy lewd scenes you're going to get bad reviews.

Yes. To begin with, I find the whole argumentation that if you have things to criticize here "it's because you aren't used to chill/slice of life" or "only want shock" rather disingenuous. Especially as a fan of rather cozy stories in various media and actual slice-of-life anime, which don't suffer from some of its issues. But I'll avoid starting a whole thing about this... it's pointless, and I'd just be repeating myself.

Yes, there are some things worth criticizing and needing to be improved. Even if the devs don't care or don't visit enough to even get the feedback, it's fine to discuss and voice them in a polite way here.

Just took OEJ 's A Knight's Tale - Gallery Mod as a base, and put the few scenes available to build this mod.

FYI, your mod for v0.38 is throwing 3 errors. You "reused" 3 labels, and the game won't even start when that error happens. Here's the relevant lines:

Well... so it does! I do wonder if the dev did that by accident, but that's irrelevant.

FOR ANYONE READING THIS, you can activate the SE version as J.R. states, OR you can edit the file ./game/script.rpy and make these 2 very easy changes:

Line 65, change "define patreon = 0" TO "define patreon = 1"
Line 2280, change "$ patreon = 0" TO "$ patreon = 1"

SAVE the file and start the game, you'll have the full SE edition.
