because western porn games overwhelmingly rely on the patreon model of infinite development, it actively discourages you from releasing a lot of content at a time or ever finishing games since it's way easier to retain subs for the same project than it is by starting a second one. This is leaving out common burnout, lack of imagination for content variety or outright scummy behavior like deliberately drip feeding content and only releasing updates around subscription renewal cycles. I could go on but it's generally a system that relies too much on the integrity of the dev, not many people value being fair to their "customers" over getting more money for less work.I'm curious: Why only western porn games tho?
Japanese groups tend to only release games when they're finished or at least like 95% done with few exceptions. But they're also far more dedicated and professional than the average western coomer doing it for fun by themselves with little if any actual experience in game development or project management.

A caveat, if I may. Those Japanese groups do indeed usually release when the game is done, BUT those games usually have like 20 scenes max. There usually pretty short, so it's far easier for them to finish. (Also, most of the are female protag corruption games, for some reason.)
I can't actually disagree with your other point, which is a shame. There are good devs, and bad devs. Some take extreme advantage of their fans, and it's really not right.
So what you are saying boils down to the fact that the Japanese adult game industry is more professional and therefore usually more consumer-friendly & sustainable?
Its Japanese Adult industry in general... A Japanese Sex Worker has significantly more protection and benefits than an Western One. Its far less exploitative and the Businesses actually treasure and compensate their talent and there is less risk of abuse.

My man, if you think that's actually true, than you have no idea how they get most of those sex workers. Spoiler alert, a lot of them are unwilling participants.

I am not saying it doesn't exist, what I left out is Child Sexual Exploitation is also kinda rampant over there and also exploitation of young in general and also revenge porn and other things can't be accounted for.

I am more stuck on the two new characters' routes currently at 9/18.
Yeah even existing Yoonji content with Damien has been removed, its a shame... I wish Shax0 didn't remove content when revamping stuff.
Dam he removed content again. Just switching over my modded stuff to new version seeing a lot of content missing in new version.

Kinda assumed that would happen. Usually when you do an overhaul of your system in these games content ends up getting removed or reworked.
