certainly, here is my latest save. I was able to get through all options when i first came back from the island and completed the Dare event through the dream sequence but when Chloe started the normal way it began to error out. I am able to bypass the event partially by choosing "look for rope" which at least allowed me to get through everything but it in now an endless cycle of Chloe coming to me every night for the stupid event. this is also the exception error i get

It shouldn't be possible, that's why you are getting this error. I'll look into it.
I already have the update 0.7.2
The event was already available in the dreams part (I played it there with no problems) and later I chose the event in the game.
So, yes I played it twice.
It's a unique event that is only supposed to be played once in the game, then it's available to be repeated afterwards only as a dream. (like every other dream, their purpose is to repeat past events)
A solution is that you load a save before you completed the event as a dream, then you complete the event normally. Only go to the dream section if you want to repeat a past event that you already played in the game already.
Otherwise you will probably have to wait until it gets patched.
