I don't know how to compress it, no promises.
Ok... Can you tell me which files are responsible for translation in RPGM , I personally never added MTL , maybe once~
So , I have a version of the game in another language , I would like to translate the modified version using this author's translation , unfortunately I can't ask the author , but I know that he didn't touch anything there except the main text , it should work.

I don't know if there is a file where you can translate the text, when i do it, i open the game with rpgmaker (the software made to create the game) and i manually translate everything directly inside by replacing the original text wrote by the dev. But this mean you have to check every maps, every events etc...

and what folders are usually overwritten by mtl?
as far as I understand , if I rewrite www/data + js everything will work like a Swiss watch (no)
Hmm , this is really difficult , I tried to replace it , but the translation clings not only to two folders , and if you change it , then the mod doesn’t work. It’s a pity that now I can’t find the translation in Russian with a separate localization tool . I have two v1.5 Japanese -Russian and a mod in English :cautious:
