I have. I've coded in C++, Java and Python. Once you know syntax and common practices, everything else is a breeze.
Every single idea you can come up with has been tried and documented by someone on Stack Overflow or some other website.
All good code is documented with comments.
Coding skills isn't just syntax, constructing classes or calling functions, the base practice for game development is called object oriented programming, which is needed to make a good game regardless of engine.
When you think of code you probably think of C++ where everything is abstract, but most game development in modern engines like Unreal Engine 5 is handled using blueprints, or visual programming. Most Unreal games you see on F95 are made with blueprints.
What they all have in common is applying principles of abstraction, knowing how to separate events by state, knowing how to represent progress in a character arc, you have to accommodate every single decision the player is going to make, catch every single error, handle every single exception, especially in a game with multiple endings.
Because our work respects the player's agency we have to consider all these possibilities and handle them ahead of time.
This is why a lot of games these days are linear and cutscene based with very limited game sections, because of the amount of work it takes to nurture player agency.
The difficulty of game dev has never been the code or its esoteric syntax, it's the abstraction and problem solving when trying to give the player options and building on those options.
Are there no more password input to activate the mod like previous version? I can't seem to find the Goblin NPC that used to be at the back of the Convience store. Is the current version/remake no longer require the password and just automatically has the mod activated at game start?

Goblinman, I successfully downloaded mod, but I'm curious about location of mysterious clan. A guy near club tells me to go west then south but I didn't find location. Where exactly is it? Or I need to do something before that?

You need to have talk to Okumura before and play out the the Miko Priestess dress scene during the evening. Afterwards, you can imediately walk up to Okumura's door, and try to enter his residence for the talisman but it's locked, which should trigger Rinko into saying I need someone who skilled in burglary.
This should queue you to return to the base and talk to Kuzumori. If you had not talked to Okumura before hand or try entering his house anytime not Wed Evening, it will not work.
