the left door is locked, the right door is like in the picture and there is no dialogue for me to go back to the base to talk to the neighbor, i think this might be a game bug

If you managed to get the 3 talismans, then you probably want to work on the getting into the secret room in the library. Make sure to save before hand to avoid any bugs.
