Well its not a problem with the DARKSiDERS version itself. I could patch that without problem. Mabey redownload and reinstall everything to make sure theres no file corruption?

And the patch works fine on a legit installation. You just have to point it to the right directory. If it's not working, it's because you're using the Darksider's crack which modifies the executable that the patch is looking for to verify the directory. In which case, read this:

Just redownloaded the entire torrent to try again, same failure. When I try to launch the game from the torrent, I get a bunch of errors with Japanese files. Switched to Japanese region, can't launch either. DARKSiDERS version works fine but no adult content.

Eh you download a patchwith the torrent not a gameJust redownloaded the entire torrent to try again, same failure. When I try to launch the game from the torrent, I get a bunch of errors with Japanese files. Switched to Japanese region, can't launch either. DARKSiDERS version works fine but no adult content.
I'm an idiot, when I tried to patch DARKSiDERS game, it has 'apply crack' which prompted to fail. Manage to get it to work after ignoring the DARKSiDERS crack!

Followed that post, did tried a clean install, no DARKSiDERS crack, copying all in the data to the game also failed for me.

About size btw, the clean main game was around 9-12 gb. With only official stuff - around 50 gb and with mods, preset's and other stuff, size can go as high as 200 gb that i saw.
As for your question, both personalities and events are not essential at all. They don't have impact on the "main story" at all. Most of DLC added clothes, variation to yotogy and personalities, there is no real value expect that to them. But if you want to play game at full, then they are recommended, since they are great.
For "DLC from JPN can go to ENG", it's not confirmed fully yet, even if there is a way, it's very shitty one.
Remove read-only from your game folder.

Wait a second if none of those dlc is essential, maybe i have to clarify what i mean with that or maybe you could do so as well?
To me essential means adding new content that has any form of gameplay, be it h-scenes a date event or something along those lines. I saw the term "yotogi" on the full dlc pastebin i found and posted, but i have to admit i do not know what it means. As for personalities. I expect it adds a maid with her own personality to play with? Is this more or less the case?
Btw i have no idea why the words after yotogi remain bold tried to fix that, lol.
Edit: googling the word meaning for it is suggesting its a straight up sex scene.
The file i attached to this post is the dlc form the pastbin that looks to have the content i mentioned above.

If we took your meaning, then yes, most of DLC are essential, as they tend to add more content to gameplay.
Yes that's the case. In the game a standard three girls, have each own personality, different dialogues, different reaction and of course different voice. Same with DLC ones, they add more personalities to make your maids with. There is possibility to transfer your maids from CM3D2, but it seems it isn't possible right now with english version.
Yotogy basically mean's "sexual intercourse", but since most of the players played japanese version and japanese tend to censor not only visual but text sometimes as well, it's end up as yotogy. Basically when you go with your maids at night to have fun - it's yotogy.
The pastebin that you provide is as far as i know the most recent, so it have almost all DLC that comes for JPN version so far. I still don't know if it actually possible to use it with english version, logically it isn't.
You can't really sell your girls, it's not brothel simulator, it's more like escort service if i give analogy. Fluffy one. There is swap and client action and they open up with leveling your maids job and stats. Some event's that introduce NTR too.

Only two remaining questions: The IGG version is 1.55.1, but the most recent patch is 1.65.
How can i find out which additional DLCs were released between 1.55.1 and 1.65 attempting to get the game most complete?
And is there somewhere a good mod database with preview screenshots/good descriptions?
So something like the nexus or loverslab for bethesdha games where you can further spice up your game.

All you need to get most complete game, is patch it to full and then install all needed DLC. There is no requirement on installing DLC, when you on latest patch.

It is not uncensored as already said in this thread it will still have mosaic censorship, ao the genetalia are pixalated.
There is a guide on steam going around to change this via plugin, but i did not try it yet.
As for your question, yes that is all you need. But beware when you use the darksider's version to not check the apply patch box, otherwise you will not be able to patch the game with the R18 patch. No manually patching (dragging and dropping files, this does not work!) either, just follow the steps their site described and find your install folder manually, if you point the installer to the folder it should do its job form this point on as intented. And after the patching is done you also have to go in the newly created "com3d2inm_adult_update_dlc" folder and upgrade your game. If this is all done the first thing you should get is the usual "its fiction bla warning plus you have to be over 18". And the title of the game will also change form the subtitle the steam version comes with to simply. "Custom Order Maid 3D 2". If you see the game starting like that everything is fine and you can play it as the R 18 version.
I know its more of a hassle than other games, but imo its a very cool game, als long as you like using yotogi events to grind your girls, literally.

I have a question regarding the ones playing or that have played the japanese version. Did you get as far as the dance event yet?
Because for some reason it looks like the english version is very god damn unstable (performance laggy and even delay in the mouse input) via this event, coupled with the fact that this is a rhythm game and i'm usually not the best at those i can not get past this. I wonder if the jap version has this problem as well? Or even if you guys know how to fix it?

I can't say anything about how stable the english version, but there several thing that can help you. First, before you start rhythm game there are options that allow you to change mouse attentive and other stuff. Second, if your maids stats high enough (higher then needed for event) you can skip all rhythm game altogether.
