Anyone knows if it's possible to only download the base game? Cuz ut takes too long with my internet to download 40gb

Unfortunately I'm one of those misguided people who went and downloaded 60GB of an outdated version of this game. Currently DLing the Repack R8 right now though but at least this one downloads faster.
it says my version is outdated, and i downloaded all the parts from page 1

What makes you think that the version in op is even remotely up to date? That is R6 which dates back to November 2021. That's how old it is. The newest is R8 and even that is 1 year old. You should be able to find a link here because it was reposted a billion times already in the last 20 pages. If you find it then nothing stops you from reading the instructions that are blatantly missing from op. Read them top to bottom. There you will find out exactly what to do and if that doesn't clear things up for you then I honestly don't know what will.
If you want to go the long route and keep the version from op then
R6+vol.7+vol.8+vol.9=R9.
while
R8+vol.9=R9
Choice is yours.

The sum of compressed dlc in vol 9 equals or is higher than 20GB. That should be feasible for everybody. We are now at exactly 15.0 GB which is honestly lower than I expected. I think that the new yandere personality + GP expansions should easily warrant an update. And even if it doesn't reach the threshold it will be done.
How can you make the presets work in this game? I know where to find them but they don't exactly look anywhere near the character and just loads up the body type. Do I have to download more DLC content not included on the Repack R8 to make these character presets load properly or do I really have to get their specific parts one by one?

I made the modpack R4.9 for that exact reason so you don't have to look for all the common small body parts. You still need the character specific mods tho if they were made specifically for that preset.
You can inspect a preset on mods.meido.dev and it will tell you where to grab the mods from

Damn that's gonna take too much time, just downloading the game with all those DLCs took a toll already. Even worse some of the parts are stuck behind a paywall...

Like paid DLCs not included in repack and yeah some of them have passwords too

So is the upload on the main page the entire game and all its dlc or do I need something else? I want to know before I download all those parts as I have the steam version but have no dlc for it and I'm not in the mood to spend like $100+ to get all the dlc.
