This has to be the most convoluted porn game I've ever had the displeasure of messing with. Having to read 46 pages of replies just to know how to get the game to work with all DLCs as well as an English translation is slowly driving me insane.
Is inlolzwetrust's guide enough for me to get the most content out of the game?
I've also noticed the mention of an SSD multiple times. I do understand why an SSD would be recommended, given the huge amount of files that need to be loaded, but I really don't want to rape my SSD, which is where my OS is installed. How worse will it be to download this abomination to my HDD instead?

If you don't mind the loading times I guess a HDD should work ok'ish. But at least perform a defragmentation before installing to free up some continuous disk space. If you have multiple partitions on the HDD install it on the first drive letter since you get the best performance there

And history repeats itself. Japanese devs surprised to know that people are pirating their games even though they've never given two shits about the non-Japanese market. It's funny how they think cracking down on piracy will make people buy their game. Fuck Japanese companies, honestly.
Time to download all the pastebins that I'm interested in, as well as all the DLC/mods that I need.

Is there a download for the official English release from the s-court site with all the DLC. I don't feel like downloading a 60 GB Japan-only release only for it to crash randomly and other problems.
Also, why do Japanese devs insist on us using their shitty off-site websites to get DLC and patches from? Steam allows adult games, but apparently, Japanese devs rather have us jump through hoops just to get an 18+ patch.

What made you believe that the Japanese version crashes randomly and the English version is stable? Logically it should be the other way around since the Japanese version gets a whole lot more support. I've loaded tons of mods and plugins and I'm actively trying to make it crash on purpose. It's as stable as it can be, I'll give it that. It only crashes if you have no idea what you're doing or you use outdated plugins with known bugs. The situation could change if you use VR though since there are very few who can test and report the issues.
