I'm not sure what your standards are when it comes to writing but I've played more than a few games at this point and I have to say I wouldn't put this game in "bad writing" compared to so many other games I've played. Not many games actually have me feeling any sort of "emotion" which this little RPGMaker game is actually able to do for me.
