You won't know if you like it or not if you don't play the game till the end of this version.

This game has a weird story concept, unless I missed something: dudes are in for Matrix-a-like simulation - for what exact premise? What's the goal? Why the dude that everything revolves around is important? Maybe I have to replay the first chapters, but if it was your usual story about gangs, mafias etc, I'd get it. And I don't even mind having a Sci-Fi and whole VI stuff...I just don't understand the story and the end goal for protagonist, his employers and whole AI plot tbh.

The simulation setting is explained when talking to Nina in chapter 2, after you got hired by Zhine and she injects you with the chip that opens the freeroam menu with characters' logs and jobs and so on.

Dude...Can you read? Nobody said anything about "why no 'cest, can't wait for dude to bang all the chicks"(which, ironically, is the role MC plays in the story)
The problem is the world building and exposition. When Neo gets out of the Matrix and has dialogues on the ship - you know what is the driving goal for him and whole crowd living in the real world.
When Frodo goes on his journey to destroy the Ring - you get the answers pretty quickly.
While here MC gets to work with the company and gets into the AI rabbit hole for what? What is the company's profit for doing this? Selling virtual realities? Getting some kind of resource out of there? 3 episodes in and that's the basic question that there's still no answer given to unless I missed something. If you want to setup the twist with "evil company using virtual reality to take over the real world" then give them exposition of something unlike it for twist to work.
So, basically, MC is doing work in VR for company, which...? Which what? There's no hook to start with)
