Maelion - first, thanks for taking the time to share your work here!

I've played through the .2 version of Cyberslayers and wanted to offer my loosely organized thoughts.

Before I dive into the details, let me say up front - the level of responsiveness to player choices (big and small), the attention to detail and "edge cases" are all first-class. Several times I found myself wondering "hey, if I do this, will the game notice or acknowledge it?" - and almost always the answer was "yes!"

This is a limited sample - but if you even come close to delivering that level of reactivity and detail over the course of the entire game, it would be incredibly impressive.

Would like to know as well. Neither save editors nor CE gave me anything to work with regarind SEXP
Oddly, even though everyone knows I do not know programming, I have spent enough time messing with games that I know how to do this. Go to the WWW folder and open Techtree.json with notepad or whatever you use. Then on the things you want to unlock, wherever it says it requires "jp" set it to zero. I used "Dirty Talk 1" as an example in the screenshot.

Yes, but the "Internet age" & "communications age" actually and definably exist. Cyberpunk is a literature sub-genre--we wouldn't have an "Age of Biography" or the "Era of Cookbooks". (y)
 Dude, the Era of Cookbooks was in 1700BC when the Yale Culinary Tablets were transcribed. I swear, I understand we're on an adult website but have we truly fallen this far from grace? So much so we've forgotten entire eras?

Also, absolutely love the creator's style. CoL is amazing and can't wait for this one to grow! Too bad they're not using HoneySelect2 tho

This is a really ambitious project and I'm excited to see where it goes. Some thing I've been having trouble with is sometimes the "click to continue" will just loop the same message over and over again and lock you on that screen.

Would be neat being able to buy different or your own apartment and buy/unlock stuff for it, upgrade electronics for scene replay viewers and other stuff

Please give feedback on this version and support the game !
At first I was confused about lack of lewdness and submisivness tree. Found it on a 2nd playthrough. The same can be said for skills in e.g. psych or phys tree - didn't know you could scroll down to select different skills. Perhaps it could be somehow better communicated in the phantasm interface.

Combat: confusing how many health points an angry enemy has left - even if you hit him, the least health dot doesn't dissapear at once.

Overall a great premise - just wondering how many option for different phatasm skills are going to be implemented.

Bug: Kassiah outside the bar and luv robot - she can dress in a schoolgirl outfit and get +1 debaucehry point each time she selects that option.

My 0.2 impressions:

Pro:
  • Lots of gameplay. The update only covered a day, but it was a day involving two characters and a lot of events, so several hours worth of play
  • Fun gameplay. I'm astonished at the degree to which the dev has converted boring ol' RPGM into a fresh and fun gameplay system, essentially combining the best aspects of Ren'py and RPGM while ditching their worst aspects. I had to get used to the idea of RPGM combat that was actually fun and unpredictable.
  • Mostly hot-looking females. Other than the Mutant Tits, the two female MC and the police LT look great, for Daz models.
  • Interesting story. The plot sounds interesting, and, while not actually plausible, is plausible by porn game standards.
  • Variety of sex scenes. Even though a number of them are implausible (why would rapists just finger their victim?) the implausible scenarios are designed to give the viewer variation in the sex scenes, so are easily forgiven.

Questionable
  • Giving all the women Mutant Tits takes away a lot from the ability to suspend disbelief, and adds a fair amount of unintended comedy to things like the sex scenes and the clothing. The women (and the sex scenes) would be far sexier if they had human-sized boobs.
  • While the mutants should and do properly look like mutants, the human males also look like mutants. I know that Daz doesn't give much variety (we've seen almost all the male characters in a gazillion stories before), the changes the devs made to them make them look less human, not more.
  • Still some Engrish present. Not misspellings, but wrong word choices. Not enough to be a negative, though.
Cons: none, really. The game played smoothly, there was clear direction but also player choices, and replay-ability is high. Those are usually cons in a game this early in development, but this baby is crafted with care and some real thought as to the info the players need.

I'd rate this 5/5 if I were given to doing reviews for games this early in development. I can't wait for the next installment, and the dev is definitely on "the list" for my patronage when a spot opens up by me dropping an existing client.

I really like the game so far. The only possible problem i see is the defeat mechanism. I'm not sure if there will be any reason to try to win a fight and not sure that's a good thing. I hope for some balance.

In my mini-review about, I kept saying Daz when I believe the game uses Honey Select. Sorry for any mistaken impressions created.

Maelion, I want to congratulate for the best game I ever played: the Cyberslayers. Really "perfect" even in early state — considering the promising development of the story and gameplay mechanics. Despite that, I've found some bugs that I want to report.

Starting with the worst, a game broken bug: the movies freezes, making it impossible to progress in history. So far, this happened twice: one in version 1.0, masturbating in the Mastu Hotel bed, and in the version 2.0, with Trog raping Kassiah (all the scenes). It's EXTREMELY frustrating.

Another game broken bug, but avoidable, is the change of scenario at the police station, before talking to Captain McJohnson: if you go back, the return to "reception" is a wrong scenario with no interactions, only a Vending Machine (Main Entrance > Exit > Main Hall = bad ending).

Lastly, a exploit/bug: each interaction with the P.S.S — Police Security Sentinel — gives 5 SEXP, infinitely.

Great intro to a game that can become great. I just hope that updates are frequent so it stays alive :)

But it's stated in some of tutorials in the beginning
