Oh, yeah. Thanks! That's fixed now.

FFR, your own reply should go outside of the quoted text area (i.e., after the [/QUOTE] tag in your post) or otherwise replying gives and empty quote... which then is automatically removed from the replying post. (That's why there's only a . in the quoted text; it's so you could be notified I was responding.)

Oh, I usually get that right, but those (bullet point) dots screwed me over. The first one I did was fine, but I accidentally deleted too much, and had to do the whole thing over again. And I've been active on this forum for soon to be 4 years, and I'd like to think I know what I'm doing. As (I hope) this reply shows...

Damn i don't understand why poeple are so harsh about the story, i laughed out loud several times yes it's dumb but the fun kind of dumb i really like it, i hope the dev come back on this game :'(
I think some people tried to take it too seriously. It was clearly meant to be for shits and giggles and imo did a great job. :) I hope he returns too, but when a Dev says it's just about ready and then radio silence, I don't hold out too much hope. :(

It's how these things always go, most of the comments come from the few people that are mad and they screech so loud it tends to drown out everything else and ends up being the only thing the Dev hears. Same as the non-stop genre bitching that goes on with some games. I'm not saying that there aren't times when some complaining might be warranted, but that also gets drowned out by all the whinging.

As they saying goes, the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Some people clearly think that if they scream loudly enough the dev will bow to their wishes. Sadly - because sometimes devs who don't have a clear vision of their story are desperate for ideas - it seems to work, which just reinforces bad behaviour.

That's why I have a lot of respect for devs that can tune out the noise and stick to their vision all the way through. I don't think they get nearly enough credit when they do - probably because those games end up with smaller fanbases by the end because when it becomes clear a dev isn't going to change the story for them a lot of players move on. At the risk of being perjoratively called a 'white knight' by these half-wits just for posting positivity, I think the more positive feedback waffling/on-the-fence devs get, the less likely they will be to give into the squeaky wheels.
