My guess is cos there are too many lines and variables that are active when you open the menu
I had same problem, and couldn't find a fix or the original file
So I removed the condition for black garter in MAP004.json in www\data
but it's not a real fix, because you can use it even if you don't buy it
about the missing buy_sex12_b8 or other b8 files, it seems to be a bug if you die while pregnant, the NPC don't change and scenes that doesn't exist while pregnant can be triggered this way, but pregnant graphics don't exist.
You can just copy the "buy_sex12_b7" file and rename the copy to "buy_sex12_b8" and it will let you continue.
if you're fimiler with it in other rpg games that has it also it basically does the same thing

Looks like you messed something up with the plugin that handles that menu.... I forget where the settings for that are hidden, but it was a pain when trying to translate it.
