u can skip some grind with the maxall, addmoney and resetmana cheats, and this games grind is no where as bad as a lot of games out there, there are games that have a major grind but thats all to hide the fact that theres no content to see (i know of one game that has a massive grind and absolutely no content the old peeping scenes were all removed and that was the extent of the sexual content in that game, last update had nothing at all for content), so complaining about the grind in dark magic is kinda hollow, the grind serves a purpose in that u cant fully corrupt a person in 1 go u gotta work at it a bit to get a pay off, but dark magics grind is what youd call lore friendly, it doesnt take from the core of the game its part of it, this is a vn with some rpg elements.
F has hydra started the walkthrough yet or is that still up in the air, i keep forgetting to ask him on discord.
and for killerzone whining about the game not being completed, F started this game alone, but now he has me and hydra helping him with english translation, editing and scene ideas, and hydra is also helping with some programming so things are coming along a bit faster then they would have when he was working alone. Also u should be aware......devs have lives outside their games too ya know, Fs got a job he has to do to earn money, he doesnt make enough on the game to quit his day job and develop the game full time, so youre whining makes u sound like a spoiled child not getting what he wants, monthly updates are standard, the time to complain is when the dev hasnt put out an update in like 6 months. if i were u F id just ignore this guy until he has something worthwhile to say, telling u to not be lazy, what an idiot, we spent hrs upon hrs bumping scene ideas off each other, that aint bein lazy at all, we cant just toss random scenes in dude, otherwise the game would be a mess, we gotta make em tie into previous scene interactions so they fit into the story, more goes into this then u think killer, and with so many chars we gotta decide which chars to prioritize scenes for, which i think F added a patreon poll to do to decide which chars to do scenes for, so patrons have some control of future updates now.
hell hydra and i came up with new scenes from current scene dialogues if thats any indication of how much work weve put in to the game so far, and i came onto the project as a proof reader and editor only, and now im giving him ideas to keep the game moving, the taka and tamiko shower edit, that was my idea with some ideas from hydra tossed into the mix to make it comedic and prevent tamiko from having to be removed, tamiko became comedy relief in the game (because face it shes friggin hilariousx'D).
and F just started up v0.2.2 to check out how our edits look in game and so far im likin it, looks so much crisper and sleek.
