actually i'm using 5.1 lollipop too
never got any issues for installing ren'py tho, including this game

haven't tried on my nougat yet but there's some cases with oreo which could be fixed by moving the apk into sd card

are u sure u have enough space on ur internal storage?
need a double of apk's size at least

There's no problem with the storage. I've got a pic on the file, please havelook if it has any problem.

there's one avaiable up to v0.3 on OP but unfortunately the author of this WT is currently busy irl, and again the game itself already begin to implementing the quest log with "what to do" and "book of memory" to make the game through easier even without a need for it
feel free to ask here if u still got stuck in-game btw

Just follow the walkthrough, there's an event you've missed. It's not based on corruption, I think it's about "Red Witch" event.
