you can edit your save to start with the trevis --> travis cheat, or you can skip through everything and get an ending

). if you use that to open the game's .exe file, it will throw up some errors, but the game will start normally afterwards

Whisky looks like it's for MacOS. I couldn't see any documentation of Linux support.

I did get the 'Final' version of Dating Amy to run on my Linux box using regular Wine. It's not without issues though. Some background images don't seem to be loading, but the game images and dialog seem to load okay. My CPU usage goes through the roof and all the cooling fans kick up to high, but again, the game still seems playable with no big delays between scene images or anything. I've only played into the first dozen images of the introduction thus far, so it remains to be seen how far I can get.

I do have some Wine extras loaded, though I don't remember what all, so there may be some things I've got that make it work beyond what you can get with the basic Wine packages. YMMV.

I was drunk I didnt think straight so instead of making a "Rename to anything you want option" as everyone requester for years
I made a option to "rename Trevis to Buck thundercock" on the New game+

Ok .. I tried, but the missing name change and the non existent options to change anything really put me off. :/

Sure I can set the volume with windows but tbh that is a basic function every game with any sound should have - just muting the music isnt enough.

In these games I want to play as the MC and not a character with a preset (*insert your opinion about the name*) name.
