While like the rest of you I can't wait until the latest update, unfortunately we then all will get Post-DMD Update depression knowing it's months until we get more D. Patreon sucks.
I think this thread keeps DMD a viable game, it's a method for the fans to keep the game alive between updates. I do wish the updates could be every other month.

Would be nice but I can see why they went with 2 months of Melody. It's a newer game with less content so far and is the one being advertised on the Patreon. For anyone who came in to all this for Melody the work on DMD kinda looks like a developer draining away their money to fund a project they didn't ask for.

Yeah it was Patreon/Pay-Pal team up that began censoring devs after they had a previously approved project up and running but Patreon is the site DMD is on so for brevity fuck Patreon. To be accurate fuck Patreon AND Pay-Pal (they owe me money anyway).
virtuvoid is generally correct in the statement "devs--in general--are no friends to our community" I would like to point out a dev who is a friend to pirates, Belle (Long Live the Princess). The dev is on this site as much as any pirate, will help you if you have an issue, responds to questions, and gets into arguments like any other person on the thread.
Belle recognizes we don't pay but seems to value our input and likes communicating with the fans.
But the dev isn't using the game as a cash-cow, it's about creating something good. Ironically the dev's positive money is secondary attitude actually creates new donors.
Iin game Belle has a slutty pixie character by the dev's name which can get confusing in the thread. lol
And Mr. Steel does interact with us quite a bit, when he isn't lawyering.
