Yeah, and as I've expressed before, my desire was for Chapter 3 to work through a possible schism between D and the MC as her "joy for life" and maybe some reality elements (plus pressure from outside) pushed them apart ... so we could go through their separate ups/downs, her wildness leading to a greater maturity (after hitting some lows) and the slow, agonizing path back towards each other with MAYBE a reconcilliation by the end. The underlying tension while keeping things entertaining there could have been truly different from prior chapters, yes: but, that would have made the game really take things to the next level, I feel.

I think a lot of our collective desires for what could happen would have been possible in a full-on Chapter 3. I'm not complaining about getting a somewhat extended Chapter 2, though: players can't be choosers and all.



That unfortunately happens at times and for the first time in my case (playing since the first installment) every one of my saves except the last one have become unable to load. Yet, if I play the prior version, most saves are still compatible.

The long-time claim is that moving up to another Ren'Py level is the culprit, as that platform - for all its advantages in VN development and delivery - has an open policy of not guaranteeing that later versions will be backwards compatible with prior saves.

Maybe see if you can at least make a save in the prior version near the end - right after D's virginity is taken, essentially. I found that saves after that point were compatible with the latest installment.

Hurray! One convert! Think of D as someone who has had a controlled life, with little or no choices. As she gets settled, her career starts, and her relationship with MC becomes more “permanent”, I personally see her reaching out and gathering up friends and family.

Where I see MC as more likely to have 2-3 close friend; I see D as much more inclusive of greater numbers. Note she wants to have tons of kids - because it is in her nature.

As long as we don’t bring in any asshole who would take advantage of her, I imagine it will be a positive experience for her. Remember way back in day 1 or 2 and the happy look she gave the pizza guy? D is a kindly person and can genuinely have that attitude in an MMF.

Well I do think as things progress, D will outpace MC in the concept of open and sharing sex with others. What an interesting irony ... in some instances, the student would become the master.

D has shown herself as a people person and willing to help others. Look how she interacted with the guy at the farm who liked Elena. She tried to help and she barely knew the guy. D is nice.
In the last update D questioned what her father had agreed to on the phone with Graham. She displayed maturity, that she was not just going along with her father's decisions. D may have wanted to be part of the decision as an equal in the relationship, not the subordinate. D is evolving from daughter, to girlfriend, then maybe to independent person.

Yes, and it's long felt to me that "if you love someone, set them free" could become a likely path for these two, and that seems even more probable since she is starting to come into her own and begins to realize what self-empowerment could mean to her.

I've been prepared for supporting her happiness through some bittersweet realizations on behalf of the MC as this game progresses - enjoying what you can together while appreciating what she might become as a combination of your support and her own desires+growing capabilities. Method acting as an adult VN player, you see ...

Are the paths properly explained somewhere? As to where the story goes based on the different paths? I'm probably not gonna play them all so I want to know what I'm getting. The walkthrough doesn't seem to go into detail.

Will I miss out on a lot if I go D only? What kind of sex scenes are different based on boobs/ass points.. those confuse me? Which paths have more anal?

I don't mind spoilers, I'd just like to know what to expect with the paths and choices.
