But its not finished as trilogy, right? So lets say it will have a two more chapters (idk how many, still kinda thinking of give it a try so have no idea how much of a story is already in - i dont wanna potentionally spoilt to myself looking into it). 5 chapters, 5 .exe's. Thats logistical nightmare in my opinion. Same goes with the choices and save files that should matter to the next chapters as you progress.
Imagine playing Dreams of Desire with their 12 chapters each as different semi-standalone game. DL them one by one and managing save files. Sure, DoD chapters are short in general but it would make like at least 4-5 chapters alone still...
I think its a issue for all consumers (managing chapters, saves on consumer part) but I respect the developer choice to do so for paying consumers, which I would assume voted for smaller sized files. Its just seemed bizzare and unnecessary to me as there are more easy and obvious paths to split the DL load. You guys clarified much to me, well I will keep an open mind and when I finish game I recently started, give first chapter a try
