I finally took the plunge with the latest update and started playing the game. I am now one week in and I feel it's time for a short summary.

Yes, the game cannot deny that it's developed by Mr. Dots. You have the inner monologues which are bordering on the excessive, cutaways to other protagonists and the sinister plans of the antagonists. You got the relationship menu when you click Daughter's (in my case Lisa's) picture. And you got more or less the same cast as Melody:

- MC: successful jack-of-many-trades with self-doubts what he is doing
- Lisa / Daughter: virgin big-boobed "kindness coin points-gather machine", in this case a bit shy who wants to be a model instead of a musician (see: Melody)
- Elena: small boobed slightly manipulative promiscuous best friend, possibly evil (see: Sophia)
- Jennifer: no-boobed Melody-lookalika who has already joined the workforce and is therefore busy (see: Xianne)
- Georgina: the giant-boobed smart one with a crush (see: Rebecca)
- Maria: boss bitch, definitely evil (see: Bethany)
- several dim-witted antagonists

This does not mean that I think one game is a carbon copy of the other, just that we have more or less the same stereotypes. I appreciate that there is a slow burn as MC is struggling with the incest thing, this is definitely not the game in which you jump everybody from the beginning. In fact, apart from several masturbations and some groping and a voyeur scene there is not much action going on during the first week. Of course all that is easy for me to say since I don't have to wait ages for a new update since September 2016.

One thing I would have liked is a slightly different corruption representation, those black flower petals hurt a little since it feels that something is dying off. Also, at one point I received a sharing point; however, I have absolutely no idea who to share Lisa with. Photographer dude and his creepy brother? *cringe* All those dudes who are just walking up to and disrespect her? I'd rather punch them all the way from the main city to the beach. (Yeah, I tend to get a bit protective about my virtual daughters.) Martin? He will have to be thoroughly assessed if he is worthy. Since he is currently banging Boss Bitch the jury is definitely out and it's not looking good at the moment. [He looks a bit like Liam by the way.]

One more point I don't like that much is that the game forces you on several playthroughs to get all the bonus pics in the gallery and that at one point I had to jump back from Day 5 to Day 2 since five of them have just been re-locked for some reason.

Predictions: At one point we will see our ex-wife again, Lisa may leave at the end of C1 to go back to school for a time jump and return at the beginning of C2. That's it for now, I will return when I am up to date.

I struggle with this, the daughter only being with other girls (to this point), she has needs as well.

The dad gets to have sex with his girlfriend, and all of his daughter’s friends, and some other women, and the daughter can only have sex with the dad and women he has already been with.

I am not asking for cuckolding, but for the daughter to be able to have sex with other men, as she seems curious but not bisexual. I would think that the sexual needs she would have would involve men.

well there should be something next update and for good measure i will repeat what have been mentioned so many times before sharing/swinging route is there if you go that route, d will never do anything with another guy without f knowing or agreeing, if you agree it is certain it will be there, the pure poly route will never have other guys in it and remember the game will develop like you play it, i am for example mostly in too romance so my main playthrough will always be a pure daughter route no one else for both of them and playing that route i have too say it is the one that makes most sense at least for me, for something more i have multiple saves for poly routes i even have a playthrough for full on share mostly too see how that route is progressing, but all this is extra for me, it will always be a romance story when i play it.

I didn’t remember that, so ok she can be bisexual, but I still don’t enjoy the game as much as I would if she were able to be shared with another man.

We'll probably see her fucking a dude (not me, but anyone who goes that route) she barely knows because she watched interracial porn and he's black and available... That's very cheap in my eyes. There wasn't any build up where she gets close to someone, so it could lead to a sexual relationship, except for the MC and Elena of course. I know it's a porn game, but her character was portayed in a certain way up until now and not as someone who fucks around just for the sake of it. She's been with only one man ffs. I wrote before that in my opinion the dev is going out of his way just to please more people and he's not doing what he invisioned for the game anymore, and I think that it shows. Don't get me wrong, the game is still better than most of the games in this site and I'll continue play the paths I like as long as everything is optional, but I feel it's not as good as it was and it'll only get worse. The Martin path definitely seems to be following the stereotypical (and vastly overused) trope of "Girl sees black guy, wants to bang him for seemingly no reason". I don't think there will be sex the next update. That would be way too rushed, Martin doesn't even know D likes him and MC doesn't either. They'll probably flirt and MC will think "D seems to have a crush on Martin" and that sort of thing.

The Graham path is different, so far she has given no indication that she wants to do anything with Graham. She is just messing around with Olivia, as I said previously they are basically doing what D/Elena did earlier on in the game. A very sexually open girl trying to get D to do stuff with her, although in this path D will also end up doing stuff with Graham too. Also, Jeff Steel I think there is an inconsistency in that path. If you do not tell Graham your secret, it advances like you did tell him at the club and the apartment after. I feel like there should be a "coming out" dialog between MC/D and Graham/Olivia if you agree to coming home with them and didn't tell your secret.

Now, on a Ryan/Margo(?) path. That one feels more "natural" so far, they're all friends (or close to it) and like each other so I could see a swinging type thing between them in the future. If D models topless, it says in the WT that a Ryan scene will be in the future (im guessing it'll be nude modeling) so that could make some sense too. Ryan obviously likes D, and he also knows about D/F's relationship if you do the topless modeling. Margo will probably be the catalyst for that path, similar to Olivia in the other path.

That's how I see it. I don't know what was proposed and when, but the game is called "Dating my Daughter" and not "Sharing my Daughter" and the way the first two chapters progressed didn't suggest anything different. Even the Elena/D relationship has a different dynamic. Other than that, we had a lot of build up so the MC/D relationship get to the point it is now, while the sharing paths (exept for Elena's) feel way too rushed to me. Just to add some BBC and to make the people who kept asking for NTR happy with something close enough since they won't get what they want. I don't see it add up to the rest of the story so far. But like I said, that's just my personal opinion. I'll still play the paths, I like so far.

On day 2 you get your 1st sharing points- can't see how much clearer things could be
The game was meant to be a corruption game- if you aren't going to research what paths the game was intendend to follow there is no point complaining it isn't what you want

The Olivia/Graham path is one I'm not sure about and I'm kinda curious to see where it goes. There is a point where Olivia asks him if he likes D so it might split into two new paths, depending on the choice you made there. I still find weird how quickly they went from "We are a couple too" to the "Let's go to our place and let our daughters suck our cocks" if you didn't say to Graham the truth when he told the MC about him and Olivia.
