Here's the thing with that, there are and have been back and forths for quite a while. And there are also things that I take issue with.

1. I take issue with the fact that it was planned from the start, and for a very long time.

A keen eye will observe that there are entries mentioning it who are dated 2 years into developing the game.

2. I take issue with the fact that the "authorities" that adamantly said NO and the ones that propagate that information, are writers and moderators and members of the fan discord, none of which had anything to do with the game for a very long time.

3. I take issue with the fact that the excuse basically is "Awww, poor MrDots really wants to do it, but the meanie writers won't let him". Really?
And on top of that the reason for not allowing him (it really sounds silly as I type it) are:
-They don't like it.
-The usual way of having intercourse with animals is not sexy. As nothing else in the game is idealized.
Please, go to your employer and say "Boss, remember when we said we're gonna makes these boxes in red and blue? Well, make them blue only. I don't like red. I'm gonna hold my breath till it happens". See how it goes.

4. I take issue with the fact that this whole time it has been "yes-yes-yes-yes-NO", which frankly seems like a well-placed bait for extra support. At least he got a couple hundred bucks from me so I guess it worked.

5. I take issue with the fact that MrDots is widely kept on a pedestal and can do no wrong, and shame on you if you have a different opinion.

6. I take issue with many people who feel that anything being done with their digital crush that they do not like is despicable, even if they never have to experience it themselves. Withdraw your troops.

7. I take issue with the fact that whoever as so much suggests than plans should be adhered to, or hopes for a change of heart gets told to shut up because no-one else likes these things, and they are a leeching minority anyway so who cares.

So us being into different wavelengths might be because we've had different things suggested to anticipate.
It's not about anyone "getting a fix", as if this is something people requested out of the blue and not hinted upon, or something that people need to get out of their system.

I apologize for making this a bit long, and for side-tracking the thread. I will not disturb this matter further.
Everyone can go back into commenting how D's face is adorable for pages upon pages.

Sounds like you should demand your money back.

Oh the eternal battle for bestiality in DMD. Who would win, I wonder? 4.000+ paying subscribers or 2-3 freeloaders complaining on a pirate forum?

But who's to say how many of them are for or against it though?

i supported the game from 0.3 i think but first hint of bestiality will pretty much be the day i'll move on

Why would you leave when it was in the works at that time? Like, seriously. If you played the game back then you would have seen it listed in the fetishes and obviously that didn't stop you from playing it back then.

as everyone i have my preferences. also as i stated,i started supporting the project when it had like 500 patrons,the whole story was in it's beginnings and all those fetishes were months (now years) away,why would i stop it there when the game had completely normal build up. once it reaches the point of including extreme fetish that bestiality is (no offence to anyone who enjoys that) i'll stop,i really don't see what's the problem...

Just seems weird to me to stick with a game this long only to leave when a fetish that was planned since the beginning (that you can also avoid) pops up. You might as well continue playing the game and just avoid the stuff you don't want to see and then it'll be as if it's not even there.

Sharing isnt NTR, the poll is about actual NTR and the general stance on it. Could end up being unavoidable in the future.

At this moment for the NTR poll, the majority voted for "I am fine with NTR as long as it is 100% avoidable" and for the bestiality poll "Bestiality, even in the hardest form is ok for me, but ONLY if 100% avoidable"

I personally am not into NTR (I love sharing though). But considering that this is the game about incest, NTR could bring some normality into everything and give D some more character. It's healthy for a young teenager to broaden her horizons and have some fun separately from her parent, maybe even get an actual caring boyfriend of her own age, at least to keep up appearance and not to attract too much attention. F and D are already too obvious and everybody is starting to get hints. Their luck can't be infinite, there gotta be some bad consequences for being too careless. And even if we ignore this, she might want to explore having a separate relationship when she finds that F wasn't faithful (no NTR on D only route). Maybe once she learns about Georgina and F, she doesn't immediately accept it. He can date all those pretty ladies behind her back, why can't she? I think turnabout is a fair play and wouldn't be surprised if she decides to have an affair with either of the photographers. Actually, it could also be a character arc for them. She might get too careless and eventually learn that photographer from Ch.1 is actually related to Lucas, she'd get scared and get back to F, saying that she was wrong and that F is perfect for her and she doesn't need anyone else because her luck with guys is horrible and only F is always there to protect her. Alternately, if she gets with Ryan, she might fall for him but then guiltily confess to F, tell him that she's confused and doesn't know what to do. There might be a choice to tell her that she shouldn't see anyone else (D remains exclusive with F and occasionally has fun with girls) or let her date Ryan (ends in open poly relationship with Georgina, D and Ryan).

I do believe it has been said by Jeff Steel that Mr.Dots plans a happy ending where D and F end up together.
But just because I have a dog doesn't mean I can't occasionally pet another one.

A rewind function back to the end of chapter 2? That was the perfect ending for both F and D.

Agreed. The D only route should have ended with Chapter 2. D and F were a real couple, they had escaped Rachel's evil plans, D was going to be a model, the happy couple were leaving their old life behind and planning a future together.
Perfect happy couple ending.
IMO as the game progresses it seems the focus will be on D's sexual awakening. The D only route may seem to become repetitive and may begin to feel hollow, like the route is done more as an obligation than out of the passion to tell a story.
