Do they have to be? No. Will they probably be? Probably yes. I partly blame the NTR hysteria for limiting lot more non-MC-male involvement (in real life there would be a lot of non-MC-male competition for the various female characters). I also blame The design team preferences that find female bisexuality really hot. (Well, I do, at least - I’ve never taken a design team poll).

I suppose along with no pubic hair, almost no female handbags, no genetic consequences for incest, and no VD - the MDots universe has an almost 95% likelihood that any female character will be bI-curious at least.

Imagine waiting for updates while having other games being developed at the same, sidelining this game. TBH not really even that big a fan of Melody. This is the best game on the site but it's slow as fk. Called it quits yet find myself here. If I was just a tad more disciplined, one I'd be off this site... but besides that I'd quit this game.
When I first heard about other games being developed I was excited but quickly felt like cash cow milking.
"It's done when it's done" kind of mentality isn't enough for me when the developers first priority isn't executing in a timely manner. I'm not necessarily saying that's the case, but that's what it's been feeling like. The content is amazing...but we're coming up on 4 years for chapter 3 of a fucking visual novel. I could very well just be ignorant. Idk what it feels like to get paid big bucks to release content every 1 to 2 months
