I think the devs are scared of releasing some NTR or sharing scenes that may upset a portion of their patrons, the latest updates look almost the same to me, just end the game or add some new fetishes like we fucked D 20 times already its getting boring at this point.

I enjoyed the update, lots of sex and story centered progression.
what I did like less was a few wasted opportunities.
the binocular dude could have spied on F+D when they did have fun on the beach at night. we have exhibition points but when theres a chance for that, nothing. sure they are talking about it, but its more hot when its not planned.
as for Martin, I feel that F is trying to get rid of him most of the time, like a teenager would do, not an adult meeting with a good friend. When I have a friend over, I try to be with him all the time, but F seems to not care much. and Im not talking about sharing or 3some, just to spend time together and ask to be included.
since I know that in one path Elena is invited to spa, I think its odd that Martin is not invited. and I repeat, not for any sharing/sex, but just normal behavior. for me a dude needs his friends, but F seems to not care about that.
so apart from a few oddity I think it was a good update and Im looking forward to the competition.

I suspect that this has something to do with why he's been fucking her all that time. You see, when you're with a woman, and think she's really, really, really, really hot... Having fucked her a bunch of times doesn't detract from that. Rather, seeing how hot she is may just make you want to fuck her some more.

You don't have to be a developer to know when certain things are being drawn out. We're on Chapter 3 with Chapter 4 being the conclusion as per MrDots. We've explored no kinks, no fetishes, and stuck with vanilla sex through and through. NTR and sharing gets teased but they don't follow through on it, and if they do they keep it safe by making it girl on girl. Showing D being dicked down by other dudes might hurt some egos so they stay away, at least for now. Even the sex scenes with D are more or less boring and vanilla. We get it, she's getting super freaky. Now show me how freaky. Chains and whips freaky? Cuz anal isn't freaky...it's pretty tame for me. Let's get medieval here!
Yes the story is very good. The mother coming back into the picture is very soap opera and the story moving forward has the possibility of being very scintillating, but don't forget this is also an adult sex game. This update (v0.26) felt very much like a quick rehash of the last update (v0.25). We maybe got a little freaky with Elena. NTR with Martin was teased. Maybe a threesome scene. And Rachel finally made it to town. Vanilla sex with D thrown in between each story point. The update itself felt a little short, I got through it in about 30-45 mins. (I read fast). Of course a payoff for certain aspects like NTR or sharing will be delivered, one would hope, but it would be nicer if we didn't progress at what feels like a snail's pace.
Is it possible this update suffered because they wanted to launch Sunshine Love? Very much so. I've never been a fan of developers doing more than one game at a time because sooner or later one will suffer. DMD suffered when Melody took center stage, but that was forgivable given the circumstances with Patreon. But now things seem to be looking up for MrDots and team and yet it seems like DMD is taking another backseat to Sunshine Love. My personal preference would be for the team to devote all their effort to DMD and then move onto another game, but they'll do as they please. Given that, they can't expect fans and patrons to not be upset when we feel there's been a quality drop in their games or if some aspects are not being delivered, or in this case taking too long to appease a softer group of people.
It seems like most people don't like Rachel and want her gone. But I gotta admit, I'd be into that as well.
To be honest, my interest in this game has waned quite a bit. But a possible Rachel redemption arc would be interesting. And I'd love to see a Rachel/D threesome, but I fear that will never happen.

Dude. We need to Dom Rachel. Knock her down a few pegs and make her a cockslut the MC...she's too much of a fake dom chick. Her types in real life end up being major subs in the bedroom once you exert a little dominance. I don't want a redemption arc, I want a humiliation arc that leads to total control.

There is a benefit of running two game developments at once - it keeps the ideas fresh for us as developers. We avoid the Icstor malaise effect. As for the size of the update ... maybe there was a Sunshine Love effect. The SL release was large and both MDots and Hearsz were exhausted.
I can’t say how the next release will be, the the one after that has the competition which will cover at least two days. mDots likes those kinds of events (the sweetheart dinner competition (with the Apple pass, etc) was one of his favorites in making, so I look forward to a huge bang in the model competitio.

I believe my posts were deleted on not any kink levels but me stating that this thread is here for game and dev talk about THIS game and not the teams other games. DMD among countless other games is suppose to be a fictional/fantasy (we only hope) game for people to enjoy and talk about their love of the game and "hopefully" future game play or what they'd like to see happen at least. To have someone come to thread and start asking for bans and whatnot isn't something wanted or needed in a usually calm thread. I respect the decision for removal of all comments related to what was posted and hope that it all doesn't come back in future.
One thing I would like to see come back to thread though is a respect for time difference and stopping of posting of spoilers in updates before others even get a chance to play
