Imagine waiting for updates while having other games being developed at the same, sidelining this game. TBH not really even that big a fan of Melody. This is the best game on the site but it's slow as fk. Called it quits yet find myself here. If I was just a tad more disciplined, one I'd be off this site... but besides that I'd quit this game.
When I first heard about other games being developed I was excited but quickly felt like cash cow milking.
"It's done when it's done" kind of mentality isn't enough for me when the developers first priority isn't executing in a timely manner. I'm not necessarily saying that's the case, but that's what it's been feeling like. The content is amazing...but we're coming up on 4 years for chapter 3 of a fucking visual novel. I could very well just be ignorant. Idk what it feels like to get paid big bucks to release content every 1 to 2 months

That's good pacing. You honestly want to be fucking everybody within the first 10mins??? That's why this niche of porn is so appealing IMO. Its that patience needed leading up to the buildup. A different kind of satisfaction in the end. Straight porn vids offer instant fap material for a reason. Honestly, half way through chapter 2 and most of chapter 3, I thought there was too much sex (mostly between MC and D) and no enough buildup, which was still pretty great, but maybe keep going a bit.....

here is my unofficial android port of Dating My Daughter Chapter 3 v0.26.
from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
you still can continue save files of DMD.CH2, but only, when they were saved at the very end.
copy these files into the save folder of DMD.CH3 and proceed as usual. files that are not useable, are marked invalid. i advice, to delete all invalid files, cuz they are checked every time you access the load/save screen and this is a slow process.

I'm a bit torn pretty good overall, but the sharing path is moving very slow. Which wouldn't be too bad but considering these updates take months it's going to take a long time for anything big to happen.
Good update, the only problem i found was at the sex scene with D and Elena at the sauna, at some point Julia is talking but it has elena's name instead

I was making those I wouldn't need the game
The game already kinda does these things to an extent in short stints, like the photographer and his crazy brother, the camera salesman, and probably some things that I'm forgetting. They're generally done well, and they add to the quality of the game, and don't lead to any actual NTR. Some other games that I've been playing also do things like these, and they definitely do get the blood pumping a bit, in a good way. If there ever is any unavoidable sharing or NTR, I would immediately end my contributions for anything MrD related, and I likely wouldn't be the only one.
