I doubt it. They already confirmed she had no chance at all so this whole thing was a stupid waste of time if they had no intention of even trying to be realistic. I closed the game right after the orgy scene because the entire game to me was made into one big shitty written joke. I liked the start of SL but after this... I fear for that game as well as dots has already started screwing it up. I mean the way they think people that do not support the game do not matter. What they are forgetting is where a good many of those supporters found their game before supporting it. I thought about it but I am glad I didn't now and put my support into other devs doing a lot better job of writing their VN's.

IMO is most of the world has no idea what happens in the fashion industry. All we know is what is in movies and TV shows. It is portrayed as a business full of attractive women who live a very hedonistic life style. Look at the numbers of model that get involved with musicians for example.
This gives the impression of the industry being more the Playboy mansion than Disney.
Either way it seemed that there was too much gratuitous sex there at the end.

The bigger issue for me was that no matter what you did you couldn't win and some earlier decisions were made meaningless. For instance choosing which bikini D would wear. If you choose correctly D was supposed to win the bikini contest.

IMO would have been better if D could win or lose. If the story was to get D and the others characters on their own that could have been done by simple personal choices.

That's the biggest issue for everyone; the false choices. We were told that by making certain choices she'd be in with a "better chance" of winning, but she had no chance at all because MrD had decided she'd lose not matter what. False choices like this in a game where the outcome is the same no matter what you choose are a surefire way to piss people off because you're taking control away from the player to decide the fate of a character. It also doesn't make sense because, up until now, we've been shaping a lot of how this story goes by our choices and now that control has been taken away.

I won't bother to check before December, but did they take the passage out of the WT now where is says that Lisa has a better chance of winning the contest if she chooses the bikini herself / listens to the gay couple at the beach about what to wear?

I did not mind the orgy per se, as it's an in on Tyra to lose the championship. For all I care the other models can be pimped out to Softcore Porn Agency Guy if that's the only agency willing to take them after all comes out. If Daddy Dearest does his own agency with Cassandra and Georgina with Lisa as first client we can always include Ruby though.

I agree with the 'false choices' comments but that was the problem with many other points. It is the speed that the ending came. Like Melody the axe came down and the game finished. Very disappointing.

That's the part I meant, yep. Obviously that should be taken out if you have no chance of winning. Wouldn't be the first time they tamper with a WT. The first edition of Sunshine Love's stated that you should go for the stars at the earliest opportunity, else you may miss out on completing the overarching task (***** Hotel) before the end of summer and lose - that passage has since been taken out.

Did it? I mean it was pretty clear that once you hit 6/7 keys or the final one that the game wouldn't continue for like 20 updates or so.

I guess to compromise, Mr Dots could allow for D to win the competition only for her to then reject the modelling opportunities after seeing how ugly the industry actually is.

Sadly, yes.

But it also says she wins the bikini competition, which she didn't. Either they realised that this would mean D has won enough events before the Q&A round to make that round superfluous, or they did originally plan for her to win then changed it.

last update were a lot of story and a big sex scene, but felt that the scene was not as good as before? maybe im becoming blasé ?

The sex scenes are fairly boring to me too, there are only so many times you can watch the same animations between the same characters and it not get stale, and the dialogs don't really do anything either. No dirty talking or description of the scene. A lot of the scenes are sort of random too, they just happen, no real buildup to them which makes it less interesting too.

For me it depends, I find the romantic one on one sex scenes more and more repetitive too, I think the game explored the same themes for far too long, I feel like I've seen everything. But I certainly didn't expect the party. That's probably why I liked that party despite the scenes not being very plausible (well the whole game isn't very plausible to begin with).

That's why I think MrDots decided to implement different stuff so late in the game, to make it more spicy, the vanilla-only players were probably becoming tired and less numerous. I can't even imagine how you can play the romantic monogamous path with D during the whole game. I feel like everything was said long in that regard, the dev has to find novelty elsewhere.

We have SL 0.4 at the end of November, DMD 28 revised right before Christmas, then it should be SL either end of January / first week of February, which brings us to March for the start of C4.
