I am of the firm belief that there needs to be more and longer Martin scenes and D needs to be wearing that ring during all of them.

My theory is that C3 would have been the planned end of the game, and if that would have gone through as planned she would have won. Now that the plot has been extended through a fourth chapter the ebb and flow of the story has changed. Now you need a mixture of wins and defeats:
End of C1: Daughter is taken away
End of C2: First sex scene between Father and Daughter
End of C3: Daughter suffers career setback
End of C4: Happy End
im at chapter 2 day 19 and elena(friend of daughter) finds out the truth, is there an outcome where she doesnt find out the relationship or is it scripted?

That's probably what's going to happen.
I still wonder how they are going to please the NTR crowd and people that want more hardcore stuff to happen or if they even going to do that at all. It's really not one of my fetishes but ehh...
Problem with things like that is that storywise it makes no sense at this point. Maybe new people wich is also a stupid idea.
I also wonder if we see a time-skip in the beginning of Chapter 4 and if yes, what time-frame.

In Chapter 1 you can't if I'm not mistaken or at least I don't see an option for that. Chapter 2 and 3 have that option but I'm unsure if that's vanilla or Lain's Mod.

You should just get away from the word NTR, please. In most cases it is not true. Look around here in the threat a bit. At one point Jeff Steel officially explains what NTR really is.
Back to the subject:
There are simply people who would very much like to see sex with other men in DMD. These are the original fans of DMD, of whom there are hardly any left here in the thread. Incidentally, this game was originally planned with more content that also includes other men. Elena, for example, should, if you decide against her, have sex with Adam. There was also some planned for the farmer boy. Some was planned with the other photographer, not Ryan. I can't think of his name right now. And much more. There are even people now who would like to have their own game with Elena. Well, that wouldn't have been necessary if only DMD had been allowed to develop as it was originally planned.
So what happened? Well, the same thing that happened to Bigbrother. At some point, more and more people came along who always expected that only the MC would get everything. And on the other hand, scream NTR when a woman has sex with another man in a game. Even if it's her own husband. The same people have no problem with "taking away" other men 's women in games, even though that is exactly the NTR. Unfortunately, the developer allowed himself to be persuaded and changed his plans a lot. Today's DMD is not even close to what was once planned.
Of course there was a lot of argument. And at the end of CH3 it escalated so far that the developer finally had an understanding, worked out a compromise and in the end added a few scenes with other men. And even provides some for CH4. Actually, because of the “any other guys dick hater”, he wanted to delete such content entirely. Although they were actually always planned. Many games have simply been messed up this way. Now also DMD. It's not the first time. And it will definitely not be the last time.
And that is the real reason why NTR hater, or "Any other guys dick hater", as I call them, because they are really just that, are so hated here in this forum. It is not due to their de facto hostility towards content with other men. That has long been accepted, everyone has their own personal taste. It is due to their behavior, generally specifically picking out all games that are planned with cheating, sharing, NTR, etc., implanting their threads, constantly dragging on alleged NTR, even though they usually don't even know what NTR really is, and then get developers to change their plans. Because that happens all the time.

NTR is still the tag it would have, it it had any. So not really relevant.

While I can understand that people would want to see that I also can understand why it was cut.
If you as the MC have no interest in her, who cares who she has sex with? Not really plot relevant anymore. Especially when she is not the focus of the game. The farm boy scene was weird I'd admit that( storywise ).
Elena being the focus in her own game could work with NTR she has the personality for it.
The other photographers name is Richard. I assume he was cut short because people probably didn't like his "brother" Lucas.

That frankly depresses me. The F/D incest is hot if you don't think too hard about it, but marriage? pregnancy? Both of those are a pain in the ass in real life, why drag them into porn? And fucked-up Alabama babies too.... ugh. Hopefully it'll be avoidable.

IMO your observation has merit. I've been playing DMD since it was first released to the general public. There was a different feel to the VN in the beginning, the corruption petals alone led one to believe that D would be gradually getting into more extreme kinks. There was open and imaginative forum speculation over what would be next. But then that all seemed to change in Chapter 2 about the time when Patreon become not just an open platform but an editor censuring content.
I don't know if it was an "OH SHIT!" reaction by the team but the tone and direction of the VN did change, and IMO not necessarily for the better.
The problem seems to be that it is not practical to make a VN where there is both a heavy D Only plot and a strong D Sharing plot. Maybe if this was the team's only VN they could have done an every other month release of plots, one month D Only the next D Sharing. But now we have a hybrid.
The one thing that I do find odd is that it appears as if the majority of people who have stated the VN should have ended with Chapter 2 seem to be D Onlyers. Then when the team drifts toward more D Sharing they cry that there is not enough D Only content.
Personally I do agree that a D Only path could have ended with Chapter 2, it made sense story-wise. But then that would have meant a loss of revenue.
