I don't think it's odd at all as this game is trying to go out of its way to be a visual novel with porn - not porn in a visual model medium. There are several of us patrons who have balked against a morally unbelievable MC who, on one hand bends over backwards to support the daughter and promise honesty and support (while hoping to bang her, admittedly), bit on the other hand MC is sneaking behind her back banging her friend and Georgina...expecting a happy MFF out of this at the end. It is not then polamory that is the problem - it is the cheating and possible future of lying. So morality is a valid issue on this forum - at least for this game.

I think the forum member who's also a writer for the game mentioned that it's difficult to write a believable character and at the same time have branching paths with regard to the other romance options. It does set you up to have a character who can be both devoted to the daughter and at the same time cheating with other women.

This is a fascinating study for anyone. I believe it is basically about the needs of a group versus the wants of an individual.
Any group (also most women) have an abiding wish to physically survive. This wish ultimately confers rightness/wrongness for the group's members. Not honor nor glory, just survival.
Some of these group members (mainly men) carry destructive qualities on one hand and sublime visions on the other hand which may be detrimental to group survival. These men must be "domesticated".
Group-wise, there are only cultural differences brought about by local experiences (geography, climate, history). The survival dynamic always dominates.
An individual may want more personal freedom , such as disregarding certain customs and taboos. Such a "do as I please" permit is usually only allowed to the very rich/connected group members.
There is no innate right/wrong outside survival concerns.

Sex, or being sexual, is not a personal survival concern.

20+ years ago it would have made a lot more sense with internet not being as widespread as it is now but with sex being absolutely everywhere from TV to movies to books it's impossible for her to know nothing.

I know a married couple (she's a corporate lawyer, he's a project manager) who have an 18yr daughter.

While I have no idea about the level of sexual knowledge the daughter has (as I've never talked with her about that particular subject) I can state that she's very intelligent and that she's never had a boyfriend (or girlfriend for that matter) as she spends almost all her time either studying, reading, or doing ballet. She is quite social but doesn't feel the need to buy into all the social media (nor do her parents) that many in the modern world do.

I have known the parents since before the daughter was born and in all that time they have never had either a TV or wired internet access in their home, and all three of them use feature phones instead of smart-phones so I would guess their access to the internet is either at work, at my place or at the local library. All three have printed out on-line content using my printer at once time or another, using either their own laptops or my computer.

So it is possible in this modern world to live in a first world western country and not be bombarded with sexual content if you choose not to.

i really like the writing so far in DMD, the story is linear vs DOD which leaves you doing nothing for the weekends

Sexual Education is both a vague and all encompassing term which can mean anything from just Reproduction (which may only cover the technical side and none of the practical/experences side), all the way up to to how to use preventive measures and different sexual practices/techniques. As to that subject being compulsory in all (types of) schools, I believe you may be assuming that all countries have the same Education Requirements as your own and that Religious based schools have to follow all those requirements.

You're setting up women not to be logical with this argument and this is really ignoring any sort of anthropological analysis in regards to communal upbringing, taboos, and other types of conditioning for children, men and women that enforce certain norms and such. I won't say much more, but I'd be careful about how the logic of this flows because it really seems nonsensical if you find a woman that's one of the guys or loves sex but doesn't want children to name a few railroads in this type of reasoning...

Outside of biological 'truth', what is needed for the species survival, there is no 'right' or 'wrong', just cultural choices.
I personally believe all lives must (a priori) be preserved, of course if something/someone is threatening my life or the life of someone I love I won't think twice before killing it. I believe in protecting those who cannot protect themselves like elders, children and animals, I believe we should not steal or get involved with people who are in a relationship. But I understand all these beliefs are mere cultural choices. There is no absolute 'right' or 'wrong' value in them.
