Don't care much about Rachel, and we can have Martin without NTR, even if I don't mind either choice. As for the dog, I'm curious to see, mostly how they're gonna write it. Maybe the dog scene should happen at the end of the most depraved gangbang ever, some LEGAL PORNO style one, with DAP and piss drinking, then after all this what is sex with a dog to finish it ? Because if it's just a single scene with the dog, I have no idea how it could be made interesting. But I guess since it was talked about for years, Dots must have his idea on the matter.

I highly doubt the "What If" scenes will be that extreme. I'm expecting them to be similar to Melody's, with the bonus of a couple of them (Graham/Olivia etc.) fitting perfectly fine into the main game.

And to add to the poll stuff that is posted above.

It is highly misleading because...

The Discords definition of NTR is " Netorare is therefore being defined as: (1) the MC having a love/dating interest and (2) having another person steal that love/dating interest away via sex, sexual prowess, etc. "

Which is, IMO, the correct definition of NTR. And none of the content in this game meets that definition.

Even more so, the content the non-vanilla crowd largely wants is swinging & sharing. More content with Martin, more content with Graham/Olivia etc. Not NTR, as defined by the discords own definition of NTR.

Therefor, that poll asks questions that skews the results against the non-vanilla crowd by not using the correct terms. Which would be...

1) More Swinging/Sharing content is fine and should be unavoidable.
2) More swinging/sharing content is fine but make it avoidable.
3) No to more swinging/sharing.

And the results are already on the pro-"NTR" but avoidable side. Making the question more balanced would lean the results further that way. Just like the beast poll with being ok with the content, but it being avoidable by a large margin.

that means: out of round about 1000 votes, only 1/5 voted 100% pro NTR. The rest voted "NO" or "if avoidable". So 3/5 don't care about ntr. It even shows that double the amount of the "100%-NTR-lovers" (114) actually refuse NTR at all (262).

Only 229 of them want unavoidable bestiality inhardest form, 123 in minor form if unavoidable.
The rest is only ok with it if it's avoidable (so these are not bestilaity lovers, but more likely "tolerant vanillars".
Even 273 are completely against bestiality at all.
So even if you count minor and hardcore together, you only get 350 positive "need to see"-votes out of 1400.

So it's not like you said - it's more like the vast majority either doesn't care, or even dislike. And as long as there are more "dislikes" than "demands", we will not change ANYTHING. We don't screw away more people than we MIGHT gain.

Talking in general now and NOT meaning "you" as in Zehyr in person, more like "YOU" as in "you F95 users":
Nearly 100% of all feedback on patreon and subscribestar (private discussions with Dots and fans inclussive) tell a clear story.
And even some over here might not like to read this, but the only complaints and demands how things have to be or should better be, are over here on F95 - and most likely NONE of them are actually supporters. There might be a very few exeptions though, but we doubt.
If you are supporters, then why don't you message MrDots directly on patreon or subscribestar? Tell him directly what you think. He isn't over here at all to listen.

Even thou that have being discussed many times before in this thread you don't get the point.. The thing is that the people that don't like NTR or Sharing they don't settle for that type of content to just be avoidable , they want to be absent all together.. They get frustrated just in the idea that such a path exist even if it is 100% avoidable.. On the contrary the "Sharing" players are totally fine for both paths to exist.. Also about the poll , Sharing/NTR is 1/5 and No NTR at all is 2/5 if we do the math correctly.. But keep in mind that the vast majority of the "i don't have problem if avoidable" is actually "Sharing" players.

Melody was clearly 100% vanilla from the start. DmD was more spicy. Also, the dog thing is a level of hardcore above DAP and piss drinking. So maybe, maybe not, we'll see.

i know that - that's why we don't do polls for decisions at all. These polls were made long time ago to get a general feedback of our discord users.
For really game related decisions, we rather talk and listen to those who contact us via patreon or subscribestar, as these are the people we really care about (for obvious reason). And if you read the quoted post carefully, i even hinted that over there.
MrDots got quite a lot of feedback in private messages. SOME of them are even people who ask if there could be NTR or other stuff. But the BIG majority doesn't want NTR. OK - they say that they are fine with it, as long as it's avoidable, but still they don't play any of that content at all. So why creating content for a few dozens, if you can make thousands more happy? That's life - that's business. Also MrDots himself is against NTR at all personally.
I even try to convince him to do 1-2 scenes for NTR in fantasy scene update, but he still hesitates and refuses. Personally i don't like NTR at all too, but i see the need of at least give SOME very few content, at least in fantasy update. So i will continue to try to change his mind - at least for now.
But if i see all the hate posts and demands and insults over here, i start asking myself for what i do that?
I guess even IF i manage to get MrDots to do 1-2 ntr scenes, they start complaining afterwards that there weren't enough.
I just get sick of all that - MrDots wants us to stay away from here at all - the heck, i slowly start to agree with him, so that those notorious ragers can do their thing on their own. Just feel sad for all the nice people over here who just want to get reliable informations and end being left alone.

Your mentionned "Several thousand" are actually slightly more than 5000 (SS and Pat combined) - just to mention the number in case someone is interested.

Thank you for replying and letting us know. Honestly would love a ntr scene in the fantasy extra or at least a few sharing scenes might be nice to see it from Martin perspective. But I understand if not either way looking forward to it. Hopefully there is a few at least since the other game and new one won’t have any ntr let alone sharing as far as I know.

The future will tell us, but I think after DmD's story is over, and Sunshine Love is also over, I think whatever the next game is + DmD fantasy updates could go on for quite a while. I think Dmd is popular enough for that. I would be amazed if people would settle for only one fantasy update for Dmd. It's a game that has an history and beloved characters, and lasted for a long time. Not like Melody who was relatively short. The way I see it would be 2 new updates in a row for the new game, 1 update for DmD fantasy, rince and repeat. Again, it's just supposition, but I think it would work financially for Dots team, and also creatively, I think it's always better to jump back & forth between projects from time to time so that creativity doesn't reach a point of saturation being on the same one all the time.

And since apparently next game will not have sharing at all, it will be boring quite quickly. The only way to make it work (at least for non-vanilla people like me) would be to make it relatively short, like Melody. I know I liked this one even if wasn't as spicy as DmD. It was short enough to not bore me for too long. Even if the Melody fantasy updates were my favorite part of the game. Sunshine was almost instantly boring to me, and still is. Has it been worked on for longer than Melody ?

My issue is a general one with the MrDots universe.
The games don't happen at the same time or at least overlap.
The more games they make the farther away from the DMD timeline they are. It would be interest if we were just experiencing different lives all happening at the same time in the Seaside-Sunshine Bay-Shermer illinois community.

I don't see how this logic is more valid than mine. If you think the game is 6 yrs old so more stuff has been explored and people are bored of it, maybe. Personnally I think the game is old, so there is more attachement to it and some people want to make it last forever, or at least until everything they want to see has been explored. In my mind, both ways could be true, but of course I'm leaning towards my version of it

The Long and Winding Road

Good morning/after/evening to all of our supporters!

Well here we are, the final (story) preview ever for Dating My Daughter.

I’m not sure how many previews we’ve posted up over the past six and a bit years but it could well be enough to create one of whole update!

As mentioned in previous posts recently, there are several different endings to the story depending on your choices and also the amount of love points that you have accumulated across the four chapters.

There were quite a number of images from the final update that we could have chosen to be our very last preview, but we decided to go with this image of you and your daughter. It seemed to make the most sense.

Again, how you get to this special moment is all down to you!

If you somehow were not already aware of the release date for DMD v36, it will be officially available to download and play, THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd!

I expect some of the "what-if" type of scenes they mentioned could at least have more "alternative" couplings/arrangements which include Martin, at least. Plus, he's a nice and attractive fellow who looks good with D, so will be interesting to see what they cook up for the extras.

well on those games i play which have shared universe things happen mostly some time after prev. game ended (and have only some references to prev. game). same time would mean in dmd's case that d would just appear on internet, tv or something else like in sl.

next game after sl should be 10 years after dmd so dee, georgina and f should have couple kids to be taken care.
