This whole conversation seems to be like calling out the colors of “the dress.” It’s almost as if each side is getting different things from the game depending on their focus. My experience with the game is first visual. Therefore, the shot selection, character facial positions, emotions shown, etc. are the primary focus for story content. The dialogue and innermost thoughts are then added to that primary visual. If I read just the script without the visuals, the game would be lacking. If the dialogue grew more dense to the point I had to focus on the intricacies of the dialogue from screen to screen, my focus would be pulled from the visuals to that detriment. In totality, I see an amazing first chapter which has a D that develops slowly from an inactive character to a growing active character. I see a relationship developed and an compact between partners formed. I can see if one has different focus or expectations that they might not get the same enjoyment I got from chapter 1.

I’m not on the writing team, but I did send a rewrite of the Georgina scene. Have yet to play the update to see what went in. Forgot I put in the heart attack line. Almost thought it was from the old script until I checked my submission.dick with a heart attack... lol

I want to thank you again for your hard work in the duration of the first chapter and I a looking forward to what's to come in Next Chapter. I will be hired in next few days and I will be throwing some Pledges to MrDots. I do have a question if you know anything if MrDots has a backup plan for the future. Due to Patreon's recent massive change to Guidelines and "Man Hunt" on the devs, I am hoping that the game doesn't change too much due to pressure or if he is thinking of alternatives. I loved the stuff he added for 0.14 and will likely be going into full gear for that.
Is there any update to the Walkthrough for DMD for version 0.14 due to the changes in how the story gives points and such? And has anyone created a Walkthrough for some of the gallery.

Just got back not too long ago and already got my paperwork done. Will be starting very soon and I gained the Position of "Utility" guy in restaurant. I basically do 3 different positions. Busser, Service Assistant, and Dish washing. It will only be part time for now till season kicks into full gear. Florida has its own set of down time and up-time. Reading a 35 page handbook now which is a relief to see one.
That being said I am super excited that I will finally be able to support a few devs on Patreon that I like and DMD is one of them considering I have come to now fully appreciate its story. Finally came to terms with that its slow for good reason and initially with 0.12. That's why I liked it so much because Daughter didn't get into instant action. Now instead of seeing it as a "Porn" game I see it now more of a visual novel and opens my eyes more on how good it really is in its story. I have to stop that mentality that its all about sex and such but more about the true growth of relationship between daughter and father and so forth.
I love the fact that the gallery was done and that MrDots kinda dropped the career paths for now. After reading his core reasons it makes sense and I knew it would be a bit overwhelming so good for him to take in the full picture.
The gallery has me intrigued even though its "Alternate" reality type thing
