So after reading his final words on Feb 5th, it seems like this and Big Brother are both in a holding pattern until further notice? The upside however is that at least Mr/ Dots seems committed to actually finishing with or without Patreon support.

he doesn’t get any say so. their company their rules sadly so if he wants to still get paid he has to suck it up and take it.

i don’t like it as it’s an affront towards free expression and artistic creativity but it is what t is.

As one of his $20 patrons I always felt I was paying him for the work he had completed each month. Every month I gave him $20 and every month he gave me content with bonuses. So I don't really feel cheated. I got exactly what I paid for each month.

And to be fair, this wasn't his first sign of trouble. This situation began at the end of last year and he tried to work around Patreon. It failed.

So you can keep your pity. I don't need your validation when it comes to how I spend my money.

As an aside, Graphtreon is amazing and we support them for $50 a month because they are just downright awesome! And their customer support is fucking top-notch!

Honestly Mr.Dots is being a bit too conservative with this, he has a product that people want, DmD is one of the most popular/lucrative games on Patreon. Now Patreon kick his balls with their banhammer and what's he gonna do? Take his project to another platform? No, he will submit to Patreon and start some random project that nobody asked for.
There were erotic games before Patreon, there are erotic games outside of Patreon, and yes, they got money too, stop being a coward and say fuck you to Patreon random rules.
