sheesh, so silly.
i don't see why there's porn for EVERYTHING but you can't design a game with whatever you want - there has to be some sort of circumvention that can be performed, question is HOW.

if the entire community are tech aware it wouldn't be an issue, everyone know they had to go to site X to look at that persons work - and the Patreon would be clean.

on a diff note, if anyone can tell me how to get thsese 3 achivs:
BFF =
My new mom =
we like to party! =
searched this entire thread and couldn't find it
The walkthrough in the OP has an achievement section.

unless i missed something, the Walktrhough (which i used) doesn't have these 3 specific Rewards, but its ok, ended up using the saves.

So - how about it, any way for us to help MRDOTS and other creators cope with this Patreon issue?

Patreon's Purge of sex games will continue, paypal we encourage (or insist) on this course of action.
Still bogs my mind why some other porn site is missing an easy cash cow by not setting up an adult friendly Patreon clone.
Let's hope a site finally is able to offer devs their creative control back.

... But finished maybe even faster than your imagined 3-4 updates. Daddy suddenly thinking eloping with D was a good idea in 0.17 may well have been an ominous sign. I do think DMD will be finished. But it will be a rushed finish. Ironically, just when will probably be determined by RL contingencies.
I guess we all know that's a very realistic assumption (unfortunately). But to be honest, for me its rather that than no official ending at all. I just need to KNOW it's the two will have a happy ending. Ideally kinda sorta married (as close as you can get in this situation) a new house in the beach city with Graham and Olivia as best friends and neighbours (I know they only made a short appearance but I like them!). At least that's how I liked to imagine it since the ending of 0.17.

Regarding of the whole situation in general, I just don't get it. I mean, I really have problems understanding why patreon (or let it be paypal if they are the once enforcing it, I don't care) are so against it. I admit to not always being very open minded but even I can't see how this topic can be rated worse than shooter, crime, hack&slay and so on. How can two people loving each other (despite the circumstances) be considered worse than people non stop harming and murdering each other? With titles like "Call of Duty" and "Medal of Honor" you're even glorifying the topic (Just consider the names. I'm not saying anything against the games, I like playing them now and then as well. But you get my point - I hope). Yes, it's forbidden and potential genetic defects in offspring and so on. I get the general principle. But the situation at large is beyond my understanding.

Well, sorry for ranting a bit there. Just wanted to share my thoughts on this one and maybe some of you can help me understand a bit more ... or assure me in my opinion that there is nothing to understand since it's just completely stupid. Yeah, I like the last one, let's go with that. Do that! ^^

I agree with u there. why killing is more appropriate than two people who love each other. I know its very complex topic but how can you choose who you love? is it even possible? and no I'm not talking about creepy father's or mother's or whatever, just pure feelings and that's good enough for me i think.
but your question there I doubt u will get straight answer if any.

Look back at Olivia and Graham.. Right before F and D came over they fucked Graham even gave her a creampie, Olivia seemed a little worried but didn't fight to get up when Graham kept on fucking her with the fun still inside.. Maybe she's on birth control or maybe not.. But those two are a better f\d couple imo.. Tbh I hoped the next time we saw her (will probably not had now), she would be pregnant :D

So, for my two cents -
as a PEOPLE we have a certain bias based on where/how we were raised. When i looked at people eating incests in china and Thailand i was grossed out because - i was not raised that way, that's it, it isn't not legitimate to eat it, and this is just a small example but this is how we are, and most people would say "eww thats gross" but it isn't - and that is the root of the issue.

This thing is here, that incest has not always been bad, in fact, according to some research (i think i saw it in a documentary called "Smarter than an ape") it is indicated that early Human arched away from the apes because of a "mutation" (not sure if thats the right word) cased by incestuous relations - due to incest many offspring were born with weaker jaw muscles, (which in its original strong form, took up a lot of room above the skull) which created less strain on the skull, allowing the brain to grow/develop/evolve more and have a more developed learning and communication portion. i should look it up and post it here.

The issue here is, as you said it, should be allowing artistic freedom, and if you want to offer claim "Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid." - you can't limit what people create, especially based on laws, because there is no end to it - according to this:
here are some retarded laws:
You may not have more than two dildos in the same house.
Flirtation and "lascivious banter" between men and women on the streets may result in a 30-day jailterm. (in Little Rock.)
It's illegal to sell stuffed items resembling breasts ("boobie pillows") within 1000 feet of a highway.
No man shall dress as a woman without the written permission of the sheriff. (In Walnut, CA) - imagine what uproar this can cause in todays society
All sex toys are banned
It is illegal for a man to be sexually aroused in public.

and in while there aren't many countries that are like this, according to Wikipedia, incest is legal in both Japan and the Netherlands.

Also on the same subject, Patreon's community guidelines say( ):
"We understand that some topics on this list such as incest or rape are a little bit more complicated because these situations are, unfortunately, part of real life. As a result, when reviewing this type of content, the Trust and Safety team will take into consideration context including personal, historical or educational narrative. For example, survivor stories or fiction such as Game of Thrones or Lolita are allowed on Patreon."
so what the hell is teh difference in the fiction of DmD and GoT?

My question for you guys is this.
if we start a petition against Patreon and paypal to allow complete artistic freedom, and we reach *all* of the creators (at least the ones for sex games), and by doing that have them reach out to all of their subs/members, do you guys think we can effect this?

The part with the laws I believe straight away. I mean, we all know what sort of crazy laws are out there in the world.
But if the rest of what you wrote is also true than that's quite interesting information, thanks for that from me :)

But in my opinion the legality of things is not even the issue. Murder is illegal, but games and tv shows about murder are completly okay and in our time considered normal (so i would think). Your example with Game of Thrones is a great one. There are so many topics handled in this show, including incest, presented with actual people so it is way more real than our 'controversial' games, but that is a hit show and nobody gets riled up about it. (Well propably some people do, there are always people riled up about anything but you get the point.
So legality, in my opinion, should not even influence whether or not the content is allowed or not. Most topics that are illegal are allowed in pretty much any other form of media so why not games? Patreon of course is not a legal authority I know that. I'm just saying it isn't even a valid defence from them in my opinion. But I digress ...

The real problem is the artistic freedom you mentioned. That SHOULD be the main reason to throw all those patreon or paypal restrictions overboard and for the developers to simply say "Not with me!". But I realise it is not so easy for them especially if their livelyhood depends on it. There is not much I hate more then censorship. Nobody should be allowed to decide for others what is ok and what not. And when it comes down to it that is all patreon ... or paypal ... or whoever is actually the driving force behind it .... that is all THEY do. They say "We don't like it therefore it is bad and that is the only correct answer".

With regards to your question, I'm on board in a heartbeat but I can't imagine it would do much good. That does not mean we shouldn't try. But I fear, both patreon and paypal are not dependend enough of that content to be REALLY affected by something like that, even if we would actually get ALL devs and users behind it. This is just an educated gues so if somebody knows some facts on that one please feel free to correct me :)

Sorry for the long rant here ... english is not my native language and I always worry people don't understand my train of thought if I don't go into detail about it ... so much overhead for a short message -.-^^

Thanks you for your thoughts and comment (and your English is more than fine).
I think the most important thing is that we DO something about this, somehow, something - even get the ball rolling. i wrote some thoughts here:
due to a lack of better location to post this (maybe a mod will see it and help me move it to somewhere with more traction, assuming it even has good ideas in it.

i'm a firm believer in making things happen, or at least finding people who will - hopfully people here are passionate enough about this to make a change (even if that passion comes from, well, passion)

Why isn't there a loli tag ? I wasn't expecting to see so many 12 year old looking girls

If a game contains sexual contact with realistic or semi-realistic character(s) who show no sign of puberty(ie prepubescent) then the game should not be shared. Basically, if it looks like a real kid don't post it. As this involves some discretion, if you are unsure ask a Staff Member

Elena and Jennifer are petite since they are clearly past puberty.. D on the other hand, not 100% sure..

I want to thank u both for your imput, lots of stuff to think about and very interesting point of view. I for one want to belive that we could make a difference, becouse it would be awesome to have right to disagree and force it (decision) if its hurting someone like for example us gamers or our beloved devs but "we're not in kansas anymore" and its not a fight against EA (Battlefront 2 fiasco), no one will stand behind us like papers or blogs or whatever, becouse no one really cares about this "small" and "disgusting" genre. We ARE alone and we need to find a way to support our games without patreon. Thats what I think we can do about this whole toboggle

It's hard to disagree.
While on the subject of killing and harming...
Same thing with the GTA5. With all this crazy mods, it's a murder simulator, and people don't give a shit when others (especially children) spend their free time killing for fun.... and it sells like crazy. PUBG is another example, just look at the steam sales, 28 MILLIONS copies sold, revenue 600 MILLIONS of dollars.
And so on... I could go on with a long list, but it's pointless. Gaming industry = virtual murder industry.
Killing in video games and movies has become so common and ordinary, it's somehow "right", or even "fun", despite the fact that it's a obvious incredible cruelty. But above all, killing is incredibly profitable $_$

Well, with regard to DMD, F&D they also have fun. They take care of themselves, they kiss, cuddle, caress, masturbate. They learn to fight, cook, photography, yoga.
But they don't throw grenades into a crowd of people. They don't collect achievements for most brutal headshoots. They don't cut off heads, arms and legs.

Holly shit. Wait a minute. Maybe MrDots should put a shitload of murderous content into DMD, then maybe Patreon will not notice the incest content, LOL.
