How can two people loving each other (despite the circumstances) be considered worse than people non stop harming and murdering each other? With titles like "Call of Duty" and "Medal of Honor" you're even glorifying the topic (Just consider the names. I'm not saying anything against the games, I like playing them now and then as well. But you get my point - I hope). Yes, it's forbidden and potential genetic defects in offspring and so on. I get the general principle. But the situation at large is beyond my understanding.

I agree with u there. why killing is more appropriate than two people who love each other. I know its very complex topic but how can you choose who you love? is it even possible? and no I'm not talking about creepy father's or mother's or whatever, just pure feelings and that's good enough for me i think.

The issue here is, as you said it, should be allowing artistic freedom, and if you want to offer claim "Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for artists and creators to get paid." - you can't limit what people create, especially based on laws, because there is no end to it - according to this:

But in my opinion the legality of things is not even the issue. Murder is illegal, but games and tv shows about murder are completly okay and in our time considered normal (so i would think). Your example with Game of Thrones is a great one. There are so many topics handled in this show, including incest, presented with actual people so it is way more real than our 'controversial' games, but that is a hit show and nobody gets riled up about it. (Well propably some people do, there are always people riled up about anything but you get the point.
So legality, in my opinion, should not even influence whether or not the content is allowed or not. Most topics that are illegal are allowed in pretty much any other form of media so why not games? Patreon of course is not a legal authority I know that. I'm just saying it isn't even a valid defence from them in my opinion. But I digress ...

But I realise it is not so easy for them especially if their livelyhood depends on it. There is not much I hate more then censorship. Nobody should be allowed to decide for others what is ok and what not. And when it comes down to it that is all patreon ... or paypal ... or whoever is actually the driving force behind it .... that is all THEY do. They say "We don't like it therefore it is bad and that is the only correct answer".

I want to thank u both for your imput, lots of stuff to think about and very interesting point of view. I for one want to belive that we could make a difference, becouse it would be awesome to have right to disagree and force it (decision) if its hurting someone like for example us gamers or our beloved devs but "we're not in kansas anymore" and its not a fight against EA (Battlefront 2 fiasco), no one will stand behind us like papers or blogs or whatever, becouse no one really cares about this "small" and "disgusting" genre. While on the subject of killing and harming...
Same thing with the GTA5. With all this crazy mods, it's a murder simulator, and people don't give a shit when others (especially children) spend their free time killing for fun.... and it sells like crazy. PUBG is another example, just look at the steam sales, 28 MILLIONS copies sold, revenue 600 MILLIONS of dollars.

We seem to be more open to violent gaming then sex gaming. When you hear the term "adult games" you more often then not think of games with sexual content, not violent content. Even violent video games that show hacking and slashing content are reluctant to show nudity. It's an attitude of sure you can kill the elf warrior girl, but you can't really see her naughty bits.
