if we start a petition against Patreon and paypal to allow complete artistic freedom, and we reach *all* of the creators (at least the ones for sex games), and by doing that have them reach out to all of their subs/members, do you guys think we can effect this?

But in my opinion the legality of things is not even the issue. Murder is illegal, but games and tv shows about murder are completly okay and in our time considered normal (so i would think). Your example with Game of Thrones is a great one. There are so many topics handled in this show, including incest, presented with actual people so it is way more real than our 'controversial' games, but that is a hit show and nobody gets riled up about it. (Well propably some people do, there are always people riled up about anything but you get the point.
So legality, in my opinion, should not even influence whether or not the content is allowed or not. Most topics that are illegal are allowed in pretty much any other form of media so why not games? Patreon of course is not a legal authority I know that. I'm just saying it isn't even a valid defence from them in my opinion. But I digress ...

The real problem is the artistic freedom you mentioned. That SHOULD be the main reason to throw all those patreon or paypal restrictions overboard and for the developers to simply say "Not with me!". But I realise it is not so easy for them especially if their livelyhood depends on it. There is not much I hate more then censorship. Nobody should be allowed to decide for others what is ok and what not. And when it comes down to it that is all patreon ... or paypal ... or whoever is actually the driving force behind it .... that is all THEY do. They say "We don't like it therefore it is bad and that is the only correct answer".

With regards to your question, I'm on board in a heartbeat but I can't imagine it would do much good. That does not mean we shouldn't try. But I fear, both patreon and paypal are not dependend enough of that content to be REALLY affected by something like that, even if we would actually get ALL devs and users behind it. This is just an educated gues so if somebody knows some facts on that one please feel free to correct me :)

Sorry for the long rant here ... english is not my native language and I always worry people don't understand my train of thought if I don't go into detail about it ... so much overhead for a short message -.-^^

I want to thank u both for your imput, lots of stuff to think about and very interesting point of view. I for one want to belive that we could make a difference, becouse it would be awesome to have right to disagree and force it (decision) if its hurting someone like for example us gamers or our beloved devs but "we're not in kansas anymore" and its not a fight against EA (Battlefront 2 fiasco), no one will stand behind us like papers or blogs or whatever, becouse no one really cares about this "small" and "disgusting" genre. We ARE alone and we need to find a way to support our games without patreon. Thats what I think we can do about this whole toboggle

While on the subject of killing and harming...
Same thing with the GTA5. With all this crazy mods, it's a murder simulator, and people don't give a shit when others (especially children) spend their free time killing for fun.... and it sells like crazy. PUBG is another example, just look at the steam sales, 28 MILLIONS copies sold, revenue 600 MILLIONS of dollars.
And so on... I could go on with a long list, but it's pointless. Gaming industry = virtual murder industry.
Killing in video games and movies has become so common and ordinary, it's somehow "right", or even "fun", despite the fact that it's a obvious incredible cruelty. But above all, killing is incredibly profitable $_$

Well, with regard to DMD, F&D they also have fun. They take care of themselves, they kiss, cuddle, caress, masturbate. They learn to fight, cook, photography, yoga.
But they don't throw grenades into a crowd of people. They don't collect achievements for most brutal headshoots. They don't cut off heads, arms and legs.

Holly shit. Wait a minute. Maybe MrDots should put a shitload of murderous content into DMD, then maybe Patreon will not notice the incest content, LOL.

We seem to be more open to violent gaming then sex gaming. When you hear the term "adult games" you more often then not think of games with sexual content, not violent content. Even violent video games that show hacking and slashing content are reluctant to show nudity. It's an attitude of sure you can kill the elf warrior girl, but you can't really see her naughty bits.
This has nothing to do with the odd sex law thread, but from the outside a West Virginia law about eating wild scallions would seem weird. It's illegal to go to school for 24 hours after eating wild scallions (ramps), believe me after you eat a ramp you'll get it. Tastes great, but you stink like rotten garlic.

great game but i cant get pass day 13 where is the self defense class the walk-though says day 11 but i done it several times and i never see a self defense class in day 11 was it at the boxing scene? or at some other day?

The self defence class is offered when you make the police report with the female officer.

Well if you really would like to take on Patreon and possibly Paypal on these issues you would likely need to get the backing of the ACLU. They do have the lawyers and backing to get parties like the press involved in the subject. Would mean you would have to make your bed with some SJW though. :evilsmile:

Agreed though that not only in the US, but also in the rest of the world we see the weird situation that extreme violence and cruelty is way more accepted at least in media as good clean loving and sexy fun. Sex is bad and sinful, being violent and cruel and ultra competitive though is considered manly and even actively encouraged in too many cultures unfortunately. :FeelsBadMan:

Look in the walkthrough, you need to accept Elena in part 1 and keep accepting her and have sex with her. In part 2 you have to set the start to Elena as a lover, not just D.
