Most people don't pay for the game, they're paying to help support the makers.I mean, yes they like the game and want to play it, but games like these aren't that cheap to make. A lot of the things MrDots uses in the game can be pretty pricey to buy.
Ya, because that's the trend going with actual triple A industries, "more and better content". We're about to get more Skyrim re-releases and paid mods. I've never seen so many people not pay for something and still feel entitled to complain on the regular.

I don't think we will ever see the face of "Mother" and that's good thing. Less new characters please. When Ricardo the waiter appears, I think to myself "here comes another filler".

DMD is the first incest game i played and it completely won me over,i was never a fan of incest games,most of them are shallow and too simple but this one is truly a masterpiece,my all time favourite adult game still is Living with temptation but this comes very very close to it
personally,slow pace is what makes this game so good,if this was any other game i'm sure i'd be annoyed that the game reached 10th update and no action,but with this game i don't mind,the development of relationship,attraction and desire is fantastic
i started to support after version 0.3 and i haven't been dissapointed since then
the ending of this version,when you're alone with daughter blew my mind :evilsmile:

That´s very interesting. I think you are right. NOW, some people are paying to help support the makers. But... How long? A couple of years ago, there were not developers of decent erotic games non hentai. Right now, thanks to Patreon, there are a few of them (maybe 5 or 10) and some people are supporting; so, they are even making decent money and making a way of life from that. Even hiring people, as a real company. It´s a new market niche. So, more and more people with real skills in the developmente of games and good ideas is going to make erotic games in patreon in al almost professional way. There will be real competence. Supporting a developer will soon not be something almost altruistic. People is going to demand quantity and quality for the money, not 15 minutes of real gameplay per month and the satisfaction of supporting a semi-amateur developer. IMO, of course.
Someone that started paying 5 bucks when DMD was in 0.1 version, has payed 50 bucks until now... the price of a game AAA as The Witcher III, for example.
That's the girl who worked at the bar where the photographer guy und Lucas hung out. Lucas also grabed her ass in one of the bar scenes.
I think you are missing the semantic difference between "patron/supporter" and "buyer/customer". But even if you wanted to blur that difference (and you really shouldn't, given that Patreon's very raison d'être is stapled on it), you would still have to consider that niche products (as DMD undoubtly is) follow completely different economic logics than mainstream ones.
That aside, I doubt a SINGLE human being could deliver much more content than MrDots does every month, without conspicuously lowering its quality. If you have a studio behind your back, then obviously things would change. But for an indipendent developer (helped just by two/three writers - no programmers! - who cannot work on the game full time anyway - I am a Ph.D. student for example), I think his pace is outstanding. Be it as it may, at the very least I can assure you that he works his ass off every month, with loads of deadline-induced stress. If other people are really much better/faster at doing what he does, I would strongly encourage them to start their own projects.

Right now, a lot of artist, programmers, script writters, etc, all around the world that can´t find jobs in the regular market (because they are still students, lack of the profesional experience most employers demand, the crisis of the economy, or other reasons) are seeing that some people (not a lot, but some people) are making a decent amount of money thanks to erotic games in Patreon. Its a very common topic of conversation in forums like 8chan, for example. That means they are going to try the same. They are doing it right now. Work groups are being organized through internet, not just a single guy at home. That means this niche market is going to become professional pretty soon, and there will be competence. Patron/supporters are going to become in buyers/customers very soon too. It´s just the way business develops. In my opinion, of course. I can be wrong.

I don't like one thing about this game. Daugther's boobs and ass at the start looked natural and right size, now they look "boosted" but in a way that they look fake, both ass and boobs. Seems like the developer wanted to made them look bigger but now it looks kinda unrealistic.

No I don't think this will go the My New Life route and suddenly your incest will be perfectly normal.
For whatever reason, the mother only cares about what brad wants. Brad sounds like a massive douche. Which ofc writing wise your supposed to seem better. The business based arranged marriage seems a bit odd as its more of a Japanese custom than a western one in the modern age. Though I have heard its still practiced among the wealthy.
But unfortunately we have to confront and conquer Rachel as she is to be the main bad in our hero's journey. Legally, the daughter has every right to stay with her father. She was obviously born in the country of the father, making her a naturalized citizen. So the mother cannot force her to return, but given how much of her and Brad's life revolve around the daughter marrying Frank, She's going to show up.
Which would mean the mother has to have some kind of leverage over the father. The daughter knows why the father didn't contact her, that her mother has blocked her way every step so that can't be all there is. Now that I think about it, most likely the mother will develop the leverage needed. Possibly through a rejected character, or perhaps Maria, his boss, was dealing with Brad's company overseas. Either way the Mother will be a significant battle to win the daughter.
While it would make more sense for Brad to marry off his own flesh and blood relation as these thing seem to be a very eugenics concept, I don't think he can have children. D does not have siblings, and I think Brad would be the dishonest level to pass her off as his own, as she does look more like her mother according to the PC. If D's stories of the two are any indication, they fuck like rabbits so they should have to rely on contraceptives or have a dozen kids.
If anything the last episode makes me wonder how Elena will fall into all this, as she has shown she's out for what she wants and is willing to step on her friendship to get the father. She's also following the checklist of 'crazy girl with daddy issues' so hopefully we steer clear. (when we want)

Just happens that until two or three years ago, only japanese developers exploited this niche in a professional way, so 99% of the erotic and porn videogames were hentai. But now, thanks to patreon, people around the world can exploit commercially the games they develop. The fetish market expands. Deal with it

I'm sure that the mother will be a pain in the arse, but what leverage could she have over the daughter or you? the daughter is already 18, meaning that she could do what she want and the father (you) is pretty rich or at least high class (depends on the job you choose, but all the 3 of them are pretty good jobs).
