The reason for this is the DMD models are using an older Daz model base and some of the Daz updates allowing for improvements are not possible with DMD. It’s been rather annoying as you see a new Daz item or texture release, but it can’t be used in DMD. Even technology is affecting the DMD shelf life. Sigh.

ok so you are not up with the times. last winter Patreon cracked down with games that are highly profitable and have incest, rape and other questionable things. Dots tried to remove the title and refereed to it as DMD only not Dating my Daughter, but that was not enough so Dots took it off Patreon, and in order to keep money coming in they started a new project named melody. Because Patreon can suspend the account of anyone that is doing something against their TOS, even if it's not discussed or even on their site but is funded through their payment system and it is not what they like. So Dots is working on Melody and other means is funding DMD so Patreon is satisfied and not upset at him. The game will be completed but they have to produce the other game as well so the other game gets 2 months of work and DMD gets 1 month of work out of 3 months.

You might want to read and understand the thread before making assertions, next update for DMD is out in 10 days or so.

Elena would make a good entertainment girlfriend (I too have learned the hard way), but unless you are also into fun 24/7 the relationship dies. As much as I like D she is a bit too naive and until her true liberated personality comes out it's still too early to tell, D might end up being an Elena to the 10th power. Weirdly the character who would be a good girlfriend is the one I have the least interest in, Georgina. She is hot, slutty and smart with enough sophistication to be in a stable long term relationship.

My issue isn't that the MC is a degenerate, but that he's a poorly written, obnoxious, violent and humorless hypocrite that won't stop ranting about how infallible his daughter is. We get it! She's wonderful. Now you don't have to repeat it six million times like a lunatic. No wonder she's so dumb. There must be practically no oxygen at the top of that huge pedestal he placed her on.

And if you really need to suckerpunch a teenager who's hitting on your girl, don't whine when the favor is returned. There are plenty of similar situations where MC gets the urge to beat someone up for practically nothing. Take the creep at the beach or anybody who shows the slightest interest in a girl he desires.

So, how many of you are also checking mrdots website ten times a day to see if there's a new preview up? It seems that with every update I'm looking forward to the next one more and more.

This is a game and like any form of entertainment the viewer (player) has to suspend reality. In the real world the MC would most likely hang around bowling alleys hitting on high school girls.

But without behaving in the manner he does the game would be about a guy who met his estranged daughter and when she left went back to a mundane job. Georgina didn't even start with the MC until AFTER D showed up and the MC took D with him to perv on her at work.

The daughter and her gaggle of girlfriends aren't exactly innocent in all of this either. They have been manipulating the MC (and each other) as well.
