personally I'm on board when comes to acknowledge "he" is a creep but cmon really? this is just a game are u guys 4 really trying to logically explain motives of these characters? It's just the same ridiculous argument as the people trying to make with starwars and what's logic and possible and what's not..really? it's just the fiction guys, let it go and have fun or don't play at all, simple.

I get the feeling that it wasn't the dev's original intentions to make him into be a creep, it's just turned out that way, the longer the game has gone on. (It is his very first game after all.)
The MC in Melody by comparison, hasn't shown any signs of real creepiness, which could be one of several differences
MrDots and his team wanted for that particular game and it's characters.
Halfway through Chapter 1 of DMD though, F tries to talk himself out of even giving her massages, such is his paranoia that he knows that he's doing the wrong thing. But being around D is clearly his weakness (his kryptonite if you like),
as it is for D being around you, the MC.
And just like most of us who have played this game, we've found her truly irresistible, just like the MC has, and unable to resist her.
But as you said, it's only a game. I'm actually surprised that there's so much focus on this.
I mean the MC is hardly Eric! XD

If this thread does dissect the plot and characters more than other game threads part of the reason maybe the 3 month wait time. DMD fans are given more time to mull over game events between updates. That and this thread seems to attract people who have a loyalty to the game and like to share some personal incites that tends to create deeper meaning than there may actually be. But hey its all for fun.

Just for fun and why the fuck not take up a new hobby I'm gonna start reviewing these games only the way I can. Slowly and Incorrectly.. incoherently... incorerently..? whatever. Check it out. Well, why not go after one of the biggest games in the underground xxx games scene right now. Dating My Daughter or Dating My Neighbor, depending on which version you have is an anomaly in this genre. It takes forever to get to the goods, constantly makes you want to roll back to pick the correct path or just read the damn walkthrough so you don't miss anything. BUT that's because it's actually good. I'm gonna warn you now, turn off that part of your brain that tells you incest is wrong (it is, I agree but this is a fantasy game and not real so chill. It's roll playing in a safe place so don't judge.) anyways the story is actually good in this game and Mr Dots (Game Creator) really knows how to keep you playing and wanting more. But god damn man this will be the most epic cumshot build up in xxx game history! At the rate the story is going people are going to be playing the modded version long before you finish this game. (Currently there is no modded version to my knowledge but don't you worry, I would bet money that someone is working on it.) You are George R.R. Martin'ing this game dude, get to writing and get it done. To date there is only 2 Chapters to this visual novel/choose your own path game and it comes out in version form. 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5... blah blah blah. I swear one version update just had me make a sandwich for her. Really dude, don't release an update until you have at least three nude scenes in it. Granted now that Dating My Daughter has been taken off of Patreon because of it's no incest policy and because Mr.Dots got to popular too fast, (Forgot to bribe the Patreon overlords I'm guessing.) The version updates have been slowing down and when they do come out they're pretty substantial. Now I make a sandwich for myself as well. lol Joke.
On to the score... As of today, Dating My Daughter gets a..... CUMSHOT!
This game has enough in it to sufficiently get you off and I highly recommend you try it wherever you can find it or if Mr.Dots has got his new sight up and running by the time you read this, go there and throw him a few bones to continue this part time hobby of his. Ignore the incest, look past it and judge the game on the fantasy it provides. Nobody condones it, it's just a game. Just like how every Call Of Duty player will eventually become a mass murderer, everyone who plays Mr. Dots games will want to have an incest.... I can't even finish the sentence it's so stupid. I'm gonna go play Doom now because I need to prepare for hell on earth because you know, it's gonna happen.. eventually... Sheesh.. You can blame modern medicine for eliminating natural selection and keeping the morons alive.

- Game has a well written story. (Story is awesome.)
- Game has animations. (They just keep getting better and better.)
- Game has well designed female models. (The lead character is smoking hot in most scenes.)
- Game takes a decent amount of time to finish or see all that it has to offer if it has no definitive end. (even if this game has no end, you will enjoy the lengthy playthrough and then immediatly want more.)
- Game has not used all default game engine assets without customizing them. (You squeeked by on this one, I know how to use Ren'py and I see what you kept but with every update I see what you change. Keep it up.)
- Game has no mundane tasks that take too long to get through and become a boring chore. (All I have to say to this is Thank God you don't have some stupid task we have to do on a daily basis to see the Daughter, like actually go to our job and work.)
- Game does not have extremely long loading/traveling/transition screens. (Very fast game, I notice the pauses you put between the transitions, subtle and builds a little tension, I'll allow it.)
BLUE BALLED
- Game is 100% Complete. (Oh this game may be stuck in Chapter/Version Hell if Mr. Dots don't hunker down and get 'er done.)
- Game has replay value that does not rely on story alone. (This game is all story, you'll be speed clicking through on your second playthrough. No gameplay in sight other than the default Ren'py choices.)
- Games user interface is intuitive and well designed. (Default Ren'py choice selection, lame. At least change up the background. Tits or ass image backgound maybe? But I have feeling this will change in the future.)
- The Sex or tease portions are sufficient and are not few and far between. (This is a hard one, pun intended. The sex and tease scenes are amazing and last a decent amount of time, but oh my lord to get them take forever. The reading hurts my eyes some times and you lose me to speed clicking from time to time. The sex scenes are very far apart and the tease scenes are only obtained if I follow the walkthrough to the letter. I hope this changes in the next chapter, whenever that comes out.)
