This is shit. I get an automatic game over no matter what i do when that douche come shome and harasses the Daughter. I guess that happens because i didn't give her martial arts lessons. Now if i want to continue playing the game I have to restart and go through endless and pointless text walls just to get to the point where you can give her those lessons. It's absourdly stupid to give an unavoidable game over from a choice you made like three or four updates back. It breaks the game and it has killed my desire to play it more. Go play Good Girl Gone Bad or something like that with no game overs at all and total freedom to choose. Why give me a choice that will result in ending the game? If you give me the choice to train her or not I assume the game will play out differently, not flat out kick me out. Jesus.
Totally agree (btw huge fan and patron of gggb here :)). A really poor design choice.
They could have used that to make some events a little more dramatic (and I don't mean in an excessive way), that would lead the daughter even closer or more dependant on her father or something similar. Would have been interesting. But no, let's force a fake choice into a game over. So much fun.

I understand the need to do this and the things being implemented, it just sucks that its done in this way and the story doesn't get to keep moving for a month or 2 more.

I will say though, that the game is becoming massive in terms of size, thus I tend to agree that the need for chapters is inevitable.

With that said though, a lot of the stuff that has been done become pointless. All those love points, friendship points, boobs/ass/etc.., all the choices, become pointless once chapter 2 starts if it's a completely different game.

Further, it makes chapters 1 almost completely irrelevant in the context of how the story is moving in terms of porn. Chapter 1 is basically the precursor where what people will really want to see will be in further chapters. I mean pretty much guaranteed we'll get to have sex with Elena, Georgina, etc.. in the next chapter, also get hjs, bjs, etc.. from them too. So there won't be anything in chapt 1 worth anything, no carry over on decisions made, nothing.

I would further add too that in the way the progress is going, it seems like 3 chapters will likely end up being around 7 chapters. Too much content and possibilities and premutations to fit into 3.
I totally agree with you that points obtained in chapter-1 should have an impact in chapter-2. Although some say chapter-2 will be a completely different game, I believe it won't be the case, and devs will somehow import all points from chapter-1 into chapter-2. Otherwise all choices made in chapter-1 meant nothing, and players won't be happy with that.

At the end of chapter 1 you will gain a password (or something like that, not expert about coding) that will grant you the possibility ok keeping track of your points and your choices (e.g. did you have sex with Georgina? what did you win at the cupid night? did Elena and D showered together? etc) in chapter 2. Don't worry about this!

Come on its just a game.:p
Even if it wasn't, this is just taboo. Except if there is a recessive condition running in the family, children resulting from an incestuous relationship are not more prone to diseases or malformations.

EVERYBODY has recessive conditions. It may just be a dumb gene that mutated 300 generations ago and that, since it never activated (maybe because present only in that family tree), it didn't affect the hosts and it was never subjected to natural selection and so it "survived".
That's why mostly animals try (when possible) to avoid inbreeding.

Does the study specify if it was a one-time thing or if it ran in the family? If the second scenario is the case, then the genetic fallout can be severe to deadly.
By passing on our genes via sex they essentially mutate to form a new genetic code. There are generally three types of mutations: positive ones which result in biological/evolutionary advantages (more fur for colder climates, slightly better eyes, slightly better hearing, etc. Sadly no X-Ray vision, supersonic flight or laser eyes...), neutral ones which are not noticable (kind of like that one uncle in every family which is just sort of "there" and nobody is too interested in talking too) and negative ones. Those can either be deadly from the word go and nature just gives up. Or the effects can be detrimental to the organism, which usually results in lowered chances for survival. At least in a world where evolution/survival of the fittest was a factor... A (drastically) reduced IQ, tendency towards diseases (i.e. cancer) or physical deformations, etc.

Fairly sure they're taken to be one-offs, not the end result of generations of close inbreeding. I take 'history of incest' to mean that it has been established that incest had taken place, and later confirmed the child in question is the product of it.
