i made some modifications to the save/load screen itself but i doubt this has an effect on your problem.
moreover i see no way that the presence of a specific save slot would have any impact on the overall game performance.

In this video you will see how saving game to 1st slot of any page makes the game laggy/sluggish.
It doesn't happens when you don't use the 1st slots or delete the 1st slot.

D went to space and when he crash landed back on the beach it was already taken over by the Apes who insisted on sharing the D (who had remained at home for a modelling competition or something) with all the other Apes thus creating all the Apes in his absence. Sharing thus the bad ending, confirmed!

Just get a fresh copy of the game. Your saves are stored in another place on your computer. Or, simply copy your save folder if you are worried.

I play DMD on my android tablet with an external keyboard. I have not been able to make the dark text box disappear from the screen in some scenes, neither with the H key, nor with anything. Is there any way to do it?
