So the Love Interest in a game can only have friends in a Virtual Novel if they are sexually involved with them? Oh, and make sure the friends are only female. Do you people hear yourselves?

Been supporting this game since the beginning but after the introduction of the second chapter I stopped playing due to issues of transferring saves from 1 update to the next. Decided to try again and still not able to open the newest update and start a new game from day 1. Is there any plans to make it so you can do a complete playthrough from day 1 to final?
Saves work just fine. Are you downloading the game from his sites, or here? Make sure you have the save files in your Roaming Appdata folder on your computer.
Chapter 1-2 are importable and compatable with saves. But Chapter 3 is stand alone and you need to plug in values and choices to start it. so You can't seamlessly go from 1 to 3.

You're not getting what I'm saying. If this was a normal game, something like having friends would be normal. In a PORN game, it's not a thing. Look at this, MC friends with Georgina = sex, MC friends with Cassandra = sex, D friends with Elena/Jennifer = sex. MC friends with Martin = no sex because MC not attracted to same sex stuff, while D is, as is every other female ever as apart from the rare lesbian only games, all the females are always bi here (no matter what they say) So friends = sex partners in these games is normal and easily repeats in other instances.

Sorry, can't remember the exact words used. But it was presented in the earlier relase that she wanted or was curious of intimate contact with him and was encouraged to do so by D and some of the other characters around. Exactly how it would be if you choose the share all path. He was still talked up as if he was a love interest now, and that seemed as if it was a bug. Making her feel at ease and relaxed by being friendly is not an issue at all.
We’ve also dropped in several TV and film references into this update. See if you can figure all of them out

Checked my save from .28 after the park kissing and it shows false for kissing, BJ, etc. so no way around the problem for now until a bugfix. Wish I knew how to check code.
Maybe it's just me but in games like these I don't fancy having sex with the same person a hundred times.

A very good morning/evening to you all!
Well, here we are, the final part of the story for Dating My Daughter – Chapter 3!
As we’ve mentioned in previous posts, we will be doing a full revision of this chapter during the first few weeks of December, and we are aiming to release a FINAL version of Chapter 3 just before Christmas.
It’s been a long but satisfying ride that has taken us to this point in our game-creating careers, and we thank you all for your patience with what is arguably our biggest ever release to date, in terms of content, lines of code, the number of renders used.
There’s been several times where we’ve wanted to end this game sooner, and even when we tried to make Chapter 3 the last one, we found that we still had too much story left to tell.
We don’t want to finish this game where we’re left asking ourselves that “we still could have added so much more”.
During the first year of making DMD (2016/17), we already had specific goals, fetishes to cover, and character combinations/paths that we wanted to see eventuate at some point in the game.
A lot of those initial plans have finally been worked on this year, and we will continue to do so right up until the conclusion of the story.
With Chapter 4, we intend to put a lot more emphasis on the father-daughter relationship, and where the two of them could potentially end up in the future.
There have been numerous endings mapped out to hopefully satisfy every kind of fan of our game.

His sentence literally ended with "unless the person isn't into same sex stuff." Which would mean that wouldn't happen.
If you don't have sharing options enabled, that scene where D expresses interest with Ryan was a glitch in the last release where that dialogue played. That issue is gone in the v0.28 release. You will only see that conversation if you have sharing options open now.

What part of "unless someone isn't into same sex stuff" did you not understand? Maybe I worded it wrong or something, but MC won't do stuff with Martin as he's NOT into that, but he's into Georgina, they're friends and they do stuff. On the other side, D is Bi (just like every female in these games) so she does do stuff with her friends even if it's same sex.
Don't think I have ever seen a game thread with such an amount of animosity before.
I still think the game is enjoyable and I'm looking forward to more. For the game to get bigger and longer than they intended to is perfectly understandable. It's quite common, and have experienced this myself in storywriting.
I admire the writer(s) for putting in such a long list of different options pathwise and I'm glad that you can choose not to see all content if you don't want to.

Assuming you have Cassandra enabled in the menu then make sure you have Dee do Tyra's dare. If Dee back's out she gets to pray to the porcelain god instead of seeing Cassandra
