Of course it's a bug. It doesn't make any narrative sense. At the very least they would have come up with a different excuse for her throwing the competition (or just losing).

A bug implies and error or omission. The dev knowingly sent out this update with content left out (as he did with his previous update).

in the scene where you are with D and the butterflies come out you have the option to kiss her or not i choose not to and then let everything play out and and she loses....thinking ok that sucks but when she is in the room explaining why she lost because of a pic of them kissing.....i know i didnt choose that option but yet it was used as the reason she threw the competition

I had the same, didn't kiss her either yet she throws the competition because of a kiss? That didn't make any sense tbh. Hope that gets fixed tho cause it kinda ruins the game

Gotta be a bug or some unfinished story as as many have encountered this issue and it undermines the story especially if they choose not to kiss her. Im gonna presume itll be fleshed out more in the next update which finishes the chapter (where this is what happens if you kiss and likely a she wins if he doesnt kiss her and actually cant have it used against her alternate route). Many have already mentioned this issue with the latest update and its not the first time big plot holes are made despite previous choices so yeah itll need addressed in the next one and im sure it will be as otherwise why would you be given the choice if he always determined this to be the conclussion?

reading through all those "i hope"-comments, i just hope that there will not be a deep disappointment in the end.
As we said several times (and i say it again, even though i will not discuss about):

There will be NO major bestiality (like penetrating -> see our discord #info-faq)

usually i'm against it but i actually looking forward to see D with others. thing i loved about this game was that strong sexual tension between F and D and that desire of wanting to just fuck D all the time during the process from simple kisses and touching to finally seeing her topless,naked and spending nights together. i love F/D together but there is no exploration left
on the other hand,martin and ryan are going through that now,i love how hard they lusting for D,if written well their scenes with D could be really hot ones

Try using wine stagging on the compressed PC version. Just download it and run the exe file from the game using wine stagging. I've used quite a few times without any problems.
