Middle age men and younger women date, get married, have children, etc. all the time. Just because the man has money (for example) and experience, does not mean he dominates the woman. The young woman has youth and beauty (presumably) which give her power, as well. You think Melania Trump has no bargaining power with Donald Trump? I think she has a lot!
Pretty sure that was tried and, unsurprisingly, didn't work... Patreon (and Co) aren't that stupid or blind. It might have been something different if the developers had been a bit more careful about what they posted on their Patreon pages / kept more of a distance between it and their actual games but not as known actor with a history.
Or people trying to profit from one of the big trends... And it is not really a new phenomena (anybody who has any idea of the topic could tell you of tens if not hundreds of people trying and failing to copy Patreon) nor does is seem likely that those platforms will be any more successful than the hundreds that tried to unseat Patreon before them. And it certainly isn't "social justice" that will kill Patreon.
